Everything was exceptional for our week stay! Clean, comfortable conditions for 2! Had everything we needed for our Hilton head vacation! As usual vacation time of Hilton head was fantastic to work with!

Great location, nicely furnished, decent mattress. This is an older building so some amenities like in unit laundry and central heat aren't an option. This is not the owners fault and those things were clearly stated in the property description. We had a good time.

My husband and I do not appreciate using our hard earned and saved money for a vacation to feel like we are sleeping in a Motel 6 (sorry Motel 6). We thought that by spending a little extra on a room we would get better quality as we have stayed in HHI three times now with not the greatest of accommodations. And it is not because we are not spending the money for lodging. The room smelled terribly musty. There was about 2 inches of dust on all lamps, baseboards, and blinds. The AC unit in the bedroom smelled like old dank chemicals and urine. It is only about 2 feet away from the bed and so trying to sleep was essentially awful. I even tried pulling out the sofa sleeper in the living room but we all know how uncomfortable those are. We came home a day early just so we could get some rest. HHI itself is great! The beach is lovely and we have enjoyed exploring the island on our bikes and the food is great (choose wisely). I think we are going to try some new beaches to visit in the future and hopefully they will honor the guests and the money they spend by providing an exceptionally clean environment to vacation in.
