Ala Moana Motel & Suites

The room was fully outfitted with a kitchenette as promised, including pots and silverware. The cleaning staff were thorough, efficient, and honest - my daughter actually left a large amount of cash out, along with a messy pile of journals, pens...etc. - all the money was still there after housekeeping did their thing and all my daughter's stuff was neatly stacked off to the side with care so the bed could be made. I was impressed.

I have a large vehicle and parking was tough, but I did manage.

Very comfortable apartments, good soundproofing, effective air conditioning, a great location, and pleasant staff; thanks to Valeria from the office for the excellent service.

The location was good and our room and the facilities were clean and decently well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful especially the person in charge of the maids.

Our studio suite was smaller than expected. The bathroom very small with no provision at all for hanging towels or clothing which was a great inconvenience for 4 people. The air conditioning went from extremes too warm or blasting cold air making it impossible attain a comfortable temp. Smoking guests in upper floors should be advised not to flick their cigarette ashes over their balcony rail. We had that problem with ashes coming down on our balcony while having our morning coffee and other times during the day. I was mistakenly expecting a pool view suite with chairs outside our door what we got was an end room on the second floor with nothing out side our door. I was honesty shocked at what we got for $966.42. I looked at accommodations similar to Ala Moana's for much less but I was shopping for a little more upscale. All in all, I was very disappointed and think that I overpaid.
