About this house rental
Previous guests have particularly enjoyed: our location; comfortable beds (king beds in both bedrooms); 1100 sq. feet of spacious, well-decorated comfort; well-equipped kitchen; generous storage (pantry and closets); convenient beach access; proximity to premier island restaurants and attractions (i.e. Louis', Laguna Bob's, Tequila Sunset, Viva on the bay, Meatball Cafe, and Coco Beach on the beach). Higher than average ceilings enhance the feeling of spaciousness.
This house originally belonged to one of the early developers of South Padre Island. It was moved off the beach and put up on concrete block stilts. We subsequently added the downstairs apartment.
Owners reserve the upstairs for our own use. Owner management eliminates costly management fees, resulting in competitive rates.

Absolutely loved our time at this beach rental! The location couldn't be better – walking distance from the sand. The house itself was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.

Lucy and her husband are wonderful hosts! The property is 2-story with the owners living upstairs and renting the downstairs apartment.We had plenty of privacy and the property is clean, cozy and quiet - minutes from the beach! The decor is nice, beach cottage ambiance. Kitchen stocked with cutlery, coffee machine, frig, stove, microwave and toaster oven (spotless)! Bathrooms stocked with plenty of towels and the beds are SOOO comfortable! I loved that our host did check in via VRBO to make sure everything was going well....I would pick the place AGAIN in a heartbeat!!! My vacation was absolutely wonderful....
