It's very open minded and unique. It's an interesting place to explore. The pool area is lovely.

It's very confusing to check in at night. There are several buildings, and signage doesn't show at night.

The location in Geyserville is in walking distance to the whole town. You’re also 15 mins away from Healdsburg and Cloverdale, both worth exploring. We enjoyed the saltwater pool and jacuzzi although the pool furniture has seen better days. We also enjoyed all the animals especially the exotic birds, their cooing, squawks and screeches gave the place a definite vibe. All the staff we met were genuinely caring people and wanted your stay to be “blessed”. The place is clean and the lounge is comfortable with coffee at the ready. The lounge also has a small refrigerator and microwave. We enjoyed our stay, but if you need all the modern creature comforts, this may not be the place for you. To us, it had a summer camp vibe.

We stayed in the Grand Lodge which is one of multiple places you can stay on the compound. I usually have a private bathroom filter on but somehow this slipped through. We shared the bathroom which had two showers and two stalls. The lack of A/C wasn’t really a problem as the lodge stayed cool and there were multiple fans in our room, but if you need it ice cold to sleep it could be an issue. As the building was built in the early 1900s noise is an issue, you can hear the doors open and close through the night, as well as other noises. Signage: from the highway there are no signs for The Grand Lodge. It is located in “The Temple of Isis” compound. This is an active place of worship for the Goddess Isis and the lodge is part of it. The birds are on an early wake up schedule I’m sure to get the worms, so if you’re not an early riser, you will be.
