About this house rental
A beautiful family home in a central location that offers privacy and convenience. Located in a quiet neighbourhood it features a blend of contemporary, industrial and rustic furnishing with all the necessary amenities. Its airy open space plan features a fully equipped kitchen, high speed wireless internet, secured parking for at least two vehicles and guest parking.
The house is fully air conditioned. Three bedrooms feature 4 beds that comfortably sleep 8 guests. 2 queen sized air-mattresses are also available to accommodate an additional 2-4 if needed.
Getting around
Parking & Transportation ===================== • Airport transfers and Carnival transportation for parties and events can be arranged. • Designated parking spots are included with your stay. • If you have more than 2 cars, parking for 3 additional cars is available on the street outside the house. • The house is located 10 mins from the highway for easy access to highway. • Public transport is an 8 minute walk away, however, getting around is faster with a vehicle. TTRideshare, Dial-a-Ride, Pinkcab and similar services to Uber and Lyft are also available.
Other Things to Note.
This is our home, please treat it kindly. • No smoking indoors, please smoke outside if you smoke. • Kindly throw out all garbage daily. • Please be mindful of the neighbors. • Please help take care of the plants, especially if you love them like I do! • Have fun! Be happy :) N.B. Our homeowners insurance does not cover your contents whilst you are on our property and we are also not liable for any injuries to yourselves or your guest whilst on your property, therefore, we recommend that you purchase travel insurance prior to your trip.

My family and I enjoyed our stay immensely we loved how spacious it was and the pool was great for the kids.

Overall, our stay was okay. The house was clean, spacious and well-kept, beds comfortable, and kitchen equipped with all necessary appliances and dishes/cutlery.
A few disappointing areas were noted however:
-The booking details were sent via email, however numerous details were wrong:
1)The satellite location provided was inaccurate
2)The access code for the lockbox for the property keys was wrong
3)The number of bathrooms was advertised as 3, however one was locked and labeled out of order.
-The booking was made 3 weeks in advance, however the following issues were experienced:
1)We couldn't check in until 2 hours after the agreed-upon time (3pm), as the housekeeper was still preparing the house.
2)The kitchen sink had a leak, which was not repaired until the afternoon of the next day, and we had to bear with multiple persons external to our party being in and out of the house during this time to repair the leak, without our prior knowledge or consent.
3)The pool was unfit for use, due to severe algal bloom and sedimentation, and wasn't cleaned and ready until 12noon on our last day. Had we not been granted a late check-out, we wouldn't have been able to use it at all during our stay.
-Finally, communication was horribly lacking. I had to initiate contact with the host, and also request updates multiple times on the rectification of all the issues noted, after being promised updates, and not receiving. No apology was offered for any of the multiple inconveniences.
