Excellent experience.

Like everything Hillsdale College does, my stay at the Dow was excellent. Room was spacious, updated, comfortable, and very clean with nice extras such as bottled water, toiletries, and tea (and coffee, but I'm not a coffee drinker). The stay included vouchers to the College dining hall which had very good options.

A minor issue . . . the dining hall times stated on the voucher were inaccurate. It took three attempts to arrive when the dining area was actually open. However, this was before the fall semester had started so the hours were irregular -- hotel could have done a better job of communicating this. Overall, this small issue did not detract from an otherwise excellent experience.

Our campus tour from Neal Brady was excellent! We were amazed at the beautiful facilities.

We experienced a lack of hot water due to a boiler problem on the morning we checked out.

The location was great for visiting the school and the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. The rooms were beautiful, clean and there was no upcharge for a bottle of water or anything in the room.

The room was beautiful. The location was perfect for my daughters college visit.

The water pressure was terrible. For the price per night a warm shower with enough pressure should be provided. The bathroom was very fancy but without reliable pressure it doesn’t really matter.
