Good for a decent night's sleep, despite needing updated and detailed.

The mattress was nice.

There was a used razor leftover from the previous guest. There was no Continental breakfast at the time that was described. There were no shower amenities such shampoo or soap. I don't know if it was on purpose or not considering how little information we were given about the property, but we could not lock our room door. Nothing happened though.

We were down to go to sleep and the bed broke from under us so we slept on a slanted bed the entire night and they charged us for damages even though we were just laying down (using the bed as intended) when it happened.

Room 5 was very noisy because the closet is where the upstairs air handler was located. Also, the room was NOT dark at night as promised.

Ok for a night.

The location to speedway is great, room and linens were clean.

The confirm indicated 2 bed 1 bath, BUT right b4 I arrived I was sent a note that it would be a shared bath. Not ideal for me, no cups were in room so you had to improvise when brushing teeth. The soap in shared bath was a shared bar of soap, ewe, need to bring ALL bath items (soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion). No mirror in bedroom and being a shared bath room, bring your own to apply makeup. The vanity in bath is probably from 60’s. Can’t control heat/air in room and was woke up all night bc of it coming on every 15 minutes.

Location was convenient for our occasion

Asked for 1 hour early check in but room wasn’t ready when we arrived(we arrived 3:45) and had to wait for staff to finish in front of us and left cleaner in room. Very warm in our room so we turned the air down but someone in the night turned the heat on and we had a hard time sleeping. Grounds were in poor unkept condition with trash laying around gazebo and other area. Bed sheets torn and improper fitting, would not stay on bed(too small)

The beds were the best part. Very comfortable. The property was quiet.

The code that was given to us was the wrong code, the shower didn't have good pressure, the shampoo is some mystery shampoo in a refillable squeeze bottle, no soap or conditioner for shower. The pictures showed breakfast but there was none set up. The knob on the cabinet under the sink was gone...we fixed it before we left because we found the knob and screw. The door to the bathroom was very difficult to close.

It worked.

The house is cool. Only stayed overnight so could really check out the outdoor amenities. Rooms are small but adequate. Not super clean but okay. The bathroom is shared which for the hours i needed it was okay but not ideal. Less clean than the room. Bedrooms are also second floor. No notable elevator.

Good value but improvements needed

They had a microwave and kitchen, the blanket and pillows were very comfortable and the room‘s decoration was nice. I felt safe.

All in all, this was a good deal. But somewhere it mentioned they were aspiring to be a 5-star facility, but all in all it felt relatively cheap and old and not as clean as I would expect - I don‘t mind sharing a bathroom but the aspiration of 5 stars seems too high. There was hair on my sheets, the AC/heater next to my room was super loud, and the lids for the provided coffee cups didn‘t fit. Also the instructions on how to enter were somewhat difficult to find in the email.

Worst place to stay.

The breakfast was cold cereal and a few other options. The food was not replaced on a daily. Breakfast options were very limited on the last day of our stay.

The air conditioning did not reach our room. I did not speak or see an employee one time. Another guest gave us the code to our room.

The stay was convenient, clean and for the most part comfortable.

It was clean, no one bothered you. Low traffic from other guests. Quiet. Met the new owner, he and his family were very nice.

Our room had a community restroom room. We got used to it and never had to wait to use it. The floors squeaked a lot. Granted the whole house had signs revealing they are under construction (but did see any happening). Walls where thin, therefore you could hear music from above, people walking on the floor above as well.

Staff were totally disinterested. Indicated our rooms are upstairs but had to be convinced to show us. Bedroom area is run down and we decided to leave.

The breakfast was great. The staff was very friendly and nice. The young lady we dealt with was trying her best to fix the issues that we had, she was excellent. The inn with some work will be a nice place.

I understand that the owners live in the house. But when you arrive and it looks like there are a few disabled cars on the side of the driveway. There was no warning that the driveway was being redone. When we arrived the water in the room was not working and when it was fixed the sink drain didn't drain.

Reviews vs Reality at it's best or worst...

The bed slept very comfortably. Best part of the property Is the bed.

The advertisements and reviews on booking.com are extremely misleading and dated. Property itself probably Used to be very nice but need a total rehab right now. Grounds are poorly kept, room wasn't properly cleaned...hair in shower, trash behind the bed, breakfast...I guess that's what it was called was less than desirable. A total renovation is needed.

Un poco la limpieza, encontramos algunas evidencias de que no habían limpiado bien, pero agradecemos mucho la flexibilidad de hacernos válida la noche que habíamos perdido. Lo comento para que tengan un poco más de cuidado con otros huéspedes.
