Hôtel-Motel Vagues Vertes

Comfortable bed, AC, beautifully kept property, very clean. Modern for the most part. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker - excellent with one coffee type that was really good the other was a breakfast blend. Plenty of Outdoor furniture to use for all people staying plus a pair of nice chair on small balcony of each unit. Lovely. Convenient for getting to Percé, Barachois, Emerald river, and points west

Insufficient lighting in room 3. Sconces next to bed are decent for in bed but no overhead or brighter lighting available. This was important if person does not see well in the dark. No plugs next to bed to charge devices. Just two extension cord spots on one side that we had to find. Thankfully had extra extension cord to make plugs on both side possible. Need dedicated good quality plugs on each side Could not plugin anything extra on wall where other appliances and table light are without tripping circuit. This needs to be addressed. Unit 3 was just a room for sleeping and bathroom. So if you want more room, other units are available. We will know for next time.

This is a really nice Motel with available cabins just outside of Perce. It is waterfront with a beautiful view of Ile Bonaventure. We spotted seals in the water every evening. We were in Room 5 which included a little kitchenette. There was a good size fridge with freezer, microwave, hotplate, and all the kitchen ware you needed to cook a meal. Coffee and tea are provide The room was a good size and very comfortable for two people. You could have easily put up a portable crib and still have space to move around. The room was very clean and updated. Outside there are many seating areas and tables which all have a wonderful view of the water. There is also a BBQ area you can cook on. We also discovered an outdoor game area. The owner of the property is very kind and goes out of his way to make you feel welcomed. We booked this place last minute and were not expecting much. We were very surprised at how nice it was. We only stayed two nights but could have easily stayed more. Just a few minutes walk away was a really good restaurant and a micro brassier. There is also a general store that has been turned into a museum a must see while you are there. Of course just a few miles away is the town of Perce. I absolutely loved this Motel and will be going back.

The bathroom was a little small but really it was not a problem. The bed was of very good quality it was just too soft for me, but I sleep on a extra firm mattress so it is hard to match that when you are away.
