The location was great and close to downtown walking distance. The managers were very nice in trying to help with issues and things some what functioned.

The shower sprayed everywhere, toilet paper holder broken, bath exhaust fan broken, no where for microwave to plug in, no glass on ceiling light, TV kept losing signal and the HVAC system had all the letters worn off and could not figure how to turn on and evidence of roof leak in bathroom.

pleased to stay at blue seal inn always, best supervisor ever him & his wife are always very polite.

every time we go to pismo this is where we stay been staying here since i was young. the location is perfect walking distance to the beach to the town and to the stores nearby it is our favorite place to stay and will continue to be.

we don't like that they closed the pool down :( hopefully they bring it back one day soon. and the ice machine as well its very much needed. also, sometimes we have to ask for a microwave to be put in the room its included but some rooms don't have them all the time.

Comfortable and affordable and convenient

I love staying at the Blue Seal we always stay in the family suites very clean and staff are excellent very nice and helpful. The pier and downtown to shops is a couple blocks so walking is convenient. We love it and will be back to stay. We come from Bakersfield so yes it's a drive there but so worth it when we get there. Very comfortable and affordable stay

The worst stay I’ve ever had, cockroaches in the bed, filthy room, horrible management.

Found a COCKROACH in my bed on the 2nd night, told management and they did not once apologize once but only inform me that there’s no refunds. The management was so incredibly rude, I am pregnant and left at 10pm to drive 5 hours back home instead of staying another night because it was such a horrible experience. The room was very dirty, holes in the wall, looks like black mold in the bathroom. The front office stays locked up, you have to use a ring doorbell to get staff to come. They didn’t come when I rang it, so I had to call the phone number twice and was standing outside for like 5 minutes before even being checked in.

Good location, decent price

Location was great, had car troubles and was forced to walk for a couple days but this place was right by the beach and everything else we needed was relatively close. Came in in the middle of the night needing a room asap and the owner gave me a pretty good deal, if im ever back in pismo beach ill probably stay here again.

No hanging door signs or anything to let cleaners know were gone or needed cleaning, so we came back for night 2 and it was still messy, that was the only complaint i guess.

I liked that it was within one mile of downtown Pismo.

I didn’t like that the room looked like it was under renovations. There was a 2 foot long break in our hotel window. It looked like it had just been painted, in a hurry. The toilet wouldn’t flush. The smoke detector was stuffed in a drawer. I believe there was some false advertisement; the “fast” WiFi, the pool which was empty, and the “HBO” tv. It takes risking a stay at this hotel, to experience something like this.

Decent motel for a last minute, quick overnighter

Conveniently located near downtown and beach. No frills motel so don't expect anything more than very, very basic. Floors felt dirty so used a towel to walk on after showering. Friendly staff at check in.

Compared to other motels in the area and for condition of building/rooms, the rate could be better. However, as I was checking in, another couple ahead of me wanted to extend their stay and their rate was about $60 more than what I paid online so that made me feel a little better.

It took the front desk worker 4 bell rings and 3 HELLO?s to finally come out from behind the door to check me in. There was an enormous box of a bed frame left in our room. The bathroom was worn. There was a drunk guy that yelled “LETS GO” to his girlfriend all throughout the night.

Room was clean and the bed was “dream me” like sleeping on a cloud. I did like the mattress very much.

Room was not ready when we arrived had to wait 30 minutes before getting my room. I had a table in my room but no chairs. I had no cups in my room to get even a drink of water from the faucet.

It was close to walk to where ever we wanted.

The AC did not work, the sheets did not fit the bed your feet are laying on the bare mattress, holes in the comforter, smoke alarm was in the bed side table, side table was broken, holes in lamp shades, we had the end room so we heard all the traffic all night, no curtains just wood blinds so the light came through. The TV did not have very many channels, no screens on the window in the bathroom. Very disappointed 😞

This was a terrible experience

The staff did not answer the phone and closed the office so they were I reachable when an emergency situation occurred on site. I would recommend to future travelers to not stay there due to safety concerns with other guests and the lack of communication/ help from the staff.

I liked that it was easy access to the beach distance wise the property itself nice although it does need more improvements when it comes to bathroom lighting mirror etc

some parts of the room were broken like the lamp shades the wall behind the door and the shower knobs
