Catch 22-Beautiful, 3 Bdrm-2 Bath Home (Sleeps 8) with Privacy & Comfort

The house is lovely, clean, and in a nice neighborhood. It is definitely a drive to the beach and parking is not cheap. Based on many past VBRO stays, there were some unexpected annoyances. It took several days to get a response from the property mgt people about the availability of beach chairs, umbrella, etc (there are none) and by then we were traveling. We were warned in a few days in advance (but not on booking) to bring paper products and soaps. I've never had to bring my own toilet paper, paper towels and soap (hand, bath, laundry, dish, dishwasher). The housekeeping company left a roll each of toilet paper & paper towels plus one tablet of dishwasher soap. I understand not providing an infinite supply of these things but a roll of TP in each bathroom doesn't seem like too much to ask. This lack of supplies would be problematic if you were flying in and not driving from someone's home. We were also suprised that we had to make our own beds on arrival. Again, that's never happened to me before.

This was a nice and clean property. We were with family and thankful for the convenience of it's location since other family members were on the street behind us. We did have to drive to the beach and parking is a pain ~ there's no way to "walk" to the beach if you're carrying chairs and coolers. I will let others know the property does have chairs and bikes available which we were told that wasn't an option so we brought our own which was very inconvenient due to limited space in our vehicle. But overall the house was nice. Also, they do not leave instructions on check-out at property (hard copy on refrigerator has always been available at other properties).This would be helpful since I do not check emails on vacation! Thank you

The picture attached to this review is incorrect. We stayed at Catch 22. While the house was quite nice and recently upgraded the listing said it was close to the beach and it really was not because you had to go to 40th for beach access. Maybe we thought we could walk to the beach when actually we had to drive. Higher quality linen would be nice, something better than Walmart grade. More than one set of linen would be good too. We were a little surprised that we had to make the beds and then the housekeepers left an envelope for a tip. I would have left a larger tip if the beds had been made. The description said to bring all household items which I did and then many items were already available. Generally … a more accurate description of what to expect would be helpful.

The house is perfect size for our group of 6. Good location. It was clean and we loved the porch. We did have to go buy pretty much all essentials including hand soap, salt and pepper, etc. Only got 1 towel per person for the week and no laundry pod to wash towels. It was a nice house overall.
