The Almand House w/ Hot Tub and Quick Access to Bike Trails

Nothing quite like a short-term rental exceeding one's expectations. Our group of seven adult slept comfortably on this nicely appointed three story house. As mountain bikers, our first great impression was the professional grade 10 bicycle rack and large garage to work in. The cycling decor welcomed us. Plenty of bathrooms for all (4 full bathrooms + 1/2), spacious main living area and outside decks. Location was so great we rode to the trails three out of the four days we were there.

Family wedding in Rogers so we needed a fun place to stay in between wedding weekend events. This place totally provided what we needed. We were somewhat disappointed we had to pay for the video game at the house since that wasn’t something I saw disclosed, but we were outside mist of the time so it wasn’t that bad. I highly recommend this fabulous home.

Our extended family stayed here for the U of A graduation. The home is very well-appointed with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Very clean and perfect place to hang out and visit. We spent a lot of time in the family/kitchen area. All loved the pub feel of the lower level and plenty of sleeping space. Perfect week!

Everyone having our own room was phenomenal! Kitchen and mutual spaces great! Game cost money, not free and not advertised as such. Perfect location for so many attractions- mt. Biking, museums, etc. Hot tub for a week was wonderful (but with no tester or chemicals wasn’t good.) Outside deck with TV was fun, with a great grill. . Construction next door not good. Master bathroom was top notch! The bed wall same as air conditioning unit. (on outside.) was way too noisy. Hopefully fixed by now. Overall a wonderful week!!!

You’ll get to this property by driving up a winding road to the top of a wooded hill. There is no backyard or side yard, and limited parking on a steep driveway. The house is kind of hanging off the backside of the hill, up on stilts. (This is important to note if you have people who like being in the yard outdoors, or if you have kids who want to play in the yard because there is no yard.) There is plenty of room inside, though. Lots of closet space and storage space. The main bathroom/shower is HUGE. Most of the closets are big enough that you could even put an air mattress on the floor for extra sleeping space. One more note on location: while this house is close to the bike trails, you’ll probably have to load your bike onto your car then drive down the hill. While you could bike down the hill, it’s a winding road and made me a little nervous to use except in a car. And if you bike down the hill, you’ll have to bike your way up. And that is ROUGH! Bring activities like board games if you plan on hanging out at the house for long times. But if you’re in town for the biking and hiking trails, art venues, the Walmart museum, or good food then you won’t be spending a ton of time in the house anyway! There are lots of things to do in the area and groceries/food/drinks nearby. The closest Walmart Marketplace is .8 miles away (a 4 min drive to 1400 N Walton Blvd) and extra convenient if you do a grocery pickup. While some paper products are there, it’s a limited supply. You’ll want to bring (or buy) more toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates, and napkins. The owner is very flexible and helped us recover a baby blanket we left behind, which was very appreciated! All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much!

Great spring break trip for a mountain bike family. House was wonderful and very clean! Host was easy to get a hold of. Lots of room for kids!

We had a wonderful stay with 2 families of kids. Lots of room and a beautiful house. Hot tub was great after a long day of biking.

We had a nice family get away to Bentonville for New Years. We were disappointed we had to cut our stay short, but the owner/property mgr were so understanding due to the inclement weather. Beautiful and spacious indoors- great room for our family that all joined. Great porches too with an outside TV- great for bowl games. Also they had a few kid toys- which our kids loved. Only recommendations: more seating in living room and more kitchen utensils/plastic wear for kids/pans etc. Overall- highly recommend! So great and easy to deal with and beautiful updates inside.

Enjoyed the stay with my mom and aunts. Plenty of space and incredibly well appointed. Had everything we needed and plenty of info about local activities and restaurants at hand to help guide a visit! Would recommend to anyone looking for a spacious house with lots of amenities.

Rented this house for my sons wedding. The entire wedding party stayed in this spacious house. It was PERFECT. The property manager was so easy to work with. I would recommend this house.

Great experience. The only notable thing is The foosball table is advertised in the pictures but wasn’t there and the coffee maker has a sensor that is going bad and made it tricky to make coffee. Aside from that everything else was just perfect.

Great place. Exactly what we needed to relax after hard mountain biking days.

Great house, ideally located for cyclists and non-cyclists as well. The pictures don't do justice to the rooms and amenities! Great entertainment spaces, huge deck with an outdoor TV and awesome grill, bike storage in the garage. I usually travel with a chef's knife and pans because rental properties usually have cheap or damaged ones, this house has fantastic cookware, both aKCup and drip coffee maker, and an awesome stove and grill! I'm going back, and recommending this house to everyone

We celebrated New Years Eve and went to the Northern Forest Lights. This house was perfect for a family gathering. The open concept helped us stay connected. It would also be perfect for a summer gathering with a nice large deck and TV. We also enjoyed the hot tub. There is something for everyone at this VRBO. We had ages 6 to 73 and everyone had a blast. Gentle reminder, which has nothing to do with our experience at this home, we didn't get to do some of the things we wanted to because of Covid. Almost everything required a reservation and of course everything was sold out because of the holiday. My mistake for not checking out things better. Thank you for sharing your home with our family.

This was the perfect location for our Bentonville biking getaway. Not far from downtown or trails, super clean, and decked out for fun!! Property manager was wonderful! We will come again!

This was an absolutely wonderful home that was perfect for us: three couples and one one year old. Our only issue was we couldn’t find extra toilet paper and had to go buy some. But we loved it and would absolutely stay there again.

Only negatives about this house were with communication and garage door code not working . The communication is hopefully being resolved with a management change . The house itself is excellent

Great location...very convenient to ride out of the house to Slaughter Pen trails and town. Incredible setup for bikers and an awesome game room. Kitchen has everything and rooms and beds are very clean and comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our 6 mountain bikers. Great trip....we’ll be back!!!

Think title says it all. Stayed once in beginning of August and came back at end of month. Owner is a great guy, local builder. Location is perfect for biking and going into town
