Our new Key West style condo is a one-bedroom, ground floor unit with lovely white rattan furnishings and a separate Florida room.
The bathroom has a large walk-in, shower with dual shower heads. The unit has ceramic tile floors.This premier waterfront property is lushly landscaped and located on the intra-coastal waterway with a PRIVATE BEACH ACCESS for those who love to frolic on the beach! We stayed at Barefoot Beach resort five years ago and we were very happy with the condo that we selected at that time and decided to come back however, it was unavailable for the dates that we were vacationing. This condo is not anything special. It did not feel particularly clean and had an odd smell. Upon arriving, the toilet began to make a squealing noise that was continuous. We contacted the owner who promptly called and told us that a plumber would be coming in the morning to fix this. I also mentioned that the light in the bedroom was out. I was told that it was difficult to change the light and to do without. It was disappointing to find that our first day that the pool was not working. I will say that it is nice/convenient to be able to walk right across the street and have a private beach access. I would consider staying at thus resort again but probably not this specific condo.
