Downtown Loft, Mountain Views, Fireplace, Couple's Retreat, Walker's Paradise

The Loft was perfect for my needs! Everything is easy for a remote check in/out. Electronic keypads provide easy and secure access to the parking garage, elevators, loft front door, and hot tub. No need to remember a key! Very comfortable, quiet unit with all amenities needed for a welcoming stay for a short or extended period - dishwasher, washer and dryer (with detergent!), lots of towels, drip coffee maker and a Keurig compatible pod coffee maker, lots of kitchenware, even an umbrella. The views from the balcony are gorgeous! And with an outdoor dining set (and grill) you can have your morning coffee outside, or grill dinner after your day. The roof hot tub was large enough to stretch and exercise in, and a reservation system ensures you have it to yourself or your group. There are some games and books, as well as the TV and streaming services, to use by the gas fire on a rainy day. The cute downtown is literally across the road. Everything (restaurants, supermarkets, the booze stores(!), galleries, specialty shops, bars, hiking trails, the Bow River outfitters) are easy walking distance. There really was no need to drive anywhere in Canmore - everything is walkable including food shopping. And Banff NP sites, Kananaskis Country, Yoho, and Kootenay are easy drives, sometimes easier than from in Banff Town itself, given Banff traffic. Parking is easy in the garage or in the above ground dedicated spaces. Safeway and Canadian Tire are across the parking lot. Since I drove all the way from California, I dropped my car off for an oil change and checkup at Canadian Tire, while out on a day tour - very convenient to be able to do that 100m from my residence, and they took good care of my car for a fair price! If you have tours with Viator or other apps, they can easily pick you up or drop you off from the Loft location, or very nearby. I will definitely try to stay at the Loft again on future trips.

A brilliant location for access to local stores and wonderful walks and scenery both in Canmore and all around the Banff area. The views from it even when the weather’s bad are fantastic and the owners were really quick to respond to our queries

We didn’t appreciate that there was only 1 toilet in the property and that the second bedroom is actually on a mezzanine floor. With facing south the property can get quite hot if you forget to close the blinds and keep fans going.

Had everything we needed for our 3 week stay. Beautiful views and great location with easy access to the local town and many trail walks
