The best location for exploring the Dordogne. A beautiful small village close by the river. The apartment is very comfortable and private with a terrace courtyard. We were grateful for the good communication with host Frederique, who gave many local recommendations that we explored, and we will always remember Martine the housekeeper who was very endearing.

White runner roses in full bloom greeted me from across the sun-filled deck as glimpses of the river below shone between the leaves. All you would expect from the Middle Ages is in this two-bedroom apartment in the old part of Beynac. Enjoy!
This is an apartment for young lovers, not a grumpy 83-year-old with stairs problems.
