The apartment is small but lovingly furnished, and has all that you need (except wifi which didn’t work during our stay). We were there during a heat wave but the fan in front of the little window let us sleep comfortably. For us it was a wonderfully unique experience of living for a few days in a medieval structure in a medieval village. We fell in love with the village and all the Dordogne. (Note that parking is in a public lot, and you must carry your bags by hand up a steep cobblestone path - about a 5-minute walk.) Huge thanks to Frederique and Martine for their care and attentiveness.

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy little place. Walking distance from food and bakery and chateau. And Martine was so bubbly and friendly.

October is a wonderful time to be in Beynac-et-Cazenac. The weather has been very agreeable and the tourist season is winding down. This apartment is a tranquil home after a day spent exploring Beynac and other close by castles and villages of this scenic and charming area of the Dordogne. You are living in medieval charm but granted comfortable modern amenities. What could be better?
Martine will make sure you have anything you need and are completely satisfied.
