Hideaway Chalet (UpperLevel) is conveniently located in the heart of Killington, minutes from the killington base lodge -prime east coast skiing, shops and restaurants.
Walking distance to many restaurants and Bars. To name few: Foundry, Pepinos, ipizza, Jax, Wooden Barrel, Wobbly barn.
If you have kids or would like to enjoy cheap skiing in nice resort you are 10 minutes from Pico Mt.
Hideaway's private setting is surrounded by several wooded acres. Floor to ceiling extra large triple glass windows will connect you to outdoors without compromising your comfort.
This luxury feature creates feelings not experienced in traditional buildings.The Outdoor deck provides panaramic views. Bedroom has its private entrance/exit door to long deck. Outdoor Hot Tub and Bonfire pit may be available. (Hot Tub and bonfire pit are part of Lower Level units. In the event that they are unoccupied, the Hot Tub could be available to Upper Level for additional fee. Inquire if interested)

This spacious top floor apartment has its own private entrance. It is warm, bright and sunny.
There is private heated extra space, on floor underneath by main entrance on your way in, which can be conveniently used to store and dry your groups ski boots and clothing. This will give you extra room and luxury of space to dry your equipment out of your living area.

We have booked the upper level apartment at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised - what a great place - close to everything, the property is kept clean and warm, very helpful staff. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at the Hideaway upper level for a 3-day ski trip. It has everything that we need. The place is quite, clean and convenient.

The property is very large. We rented the upper level and with only 3 people had more than enough space. Everything was very clean and tidy and the beds and towels were very nice. The kitchen was full of all the necessary stuff one needs if you are bringing some food, coffee and drinks.
When you enter the hallway there is a place to store skis (this is shared with the 2nd floor unit) and then another door opens into a small HEATED area that is perfect for storing boots. This second heated area is private to the top floor unit as well which is nice and means you don't need to lug your boots up into the main area.
There is a washer and dryer in unit which is perfect for ski clothing turnaround so you can travel a little lighter than you would otherwise. Also the hot tub is the perfect post ski ritual and the tub is very clean and very nice and most importantly working perfectly!
Another great thing is the location. It is very close to the mountain and near some of the better restaurants and bars in the area. Also since it is so close the restaurants will send FREE shuttles to pick you and your party up so you don't need to worry about your car. Also they all know the property so you just tell them "Hideaway Chalet" and they are there in no time.
Tons of parking. There were ~5 SUVs in the driveway when we were there and it could have handled probably 4 more without much of an issue.
There is TV but the station selection is a little limited. This isn't a problem unless there is a big sports game on TV so just be aware. Also the bottom units were rented out as well and the internet got a little slow at times but once again not a huge problem at all.

I stayed at the Hideaway upper level for a 5 day ski instructor's event. The property is tucked away behind the trees along the access road and is secluded and quiet. Lots of room in the unit with a nice kitchen, two full baths and a washer and a dryer. There was plenty of space for three grumpy old men and after losing a coin flip, I had no problems sleeping on the comfy futon in the living room. Owner of the unit lives in the area and is very nice.
