About this chalet rental
Welcome to La Ferme de Vanille, an authentic Savoyard farmhouse dating back to 1708, rated ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and tastefully renovated, offering you a cozy and very comfortable retreat. Ideal for a stay with family or friends any time of year, its 220 m² of carefully furnished and decorated space guarantees a warm and welcoming atmosphere. In its two living rooms, enjoy the breathtaking view of the mountains through the large picture window, or gather around the fireplace on winter evenings. A reading nook awaits you next to the bookshelf.
Each of the 4 bedrooms has its own unique character and welcomes you to a relaxing and rejuvenating setting. You’ll find the following amenities, accommodating 12 people:
A fully equipped open kitchen where you can gather to enjoy Savoyard specialties.
A dining room with seating for 12 and a high chair
4 BATHROOMS
4 BEDROOMS, including 2 with a double bed, another with a double bed and a single bed, and the last with a double bed, a single bed, a crib, and a pull-out bed. A loft also features a double bed.
The beds are made upon your arrival; BED LINENS AND TOWELS ARE PROVIDED; FINAL CLEANING and FIREWOOD are INCLUDED, as well as basic necessities.
Television with CABLE and SATELLITE
Internet with FREE WIFI.
The chalet is not equipped for guests with limited mobility.
In winter, shuttle buses—located 100 meters from the chalet—will take you for free in 2 minutes to the base of the slopes or to the villages of Le Grand Bornand or Le Chinaillon.
You can also enjoy sunny days on the wooden terrace or in the garden around a barbecue. You’ll enjoy an unobstructed view.
From the chalet, there are numerous hiking trails to explore, as well as the wonderful “Mysterious Waterfall.”
Tennis courts, mountain biking, and tree climbing are available in the village, along with many other activities during the kids’ festival!
And of course, the fabulous city of Annecy, just half an hour away, awaits you with its lake and festivities!

Un chalet très spacieux et parfaitement bien équipé avec une décoration typique très soignée. La vue sur la nature est extrêmement agréable.
Très bien situé à mi-chemin du village et du Chinaillon. Le village est accessible à pieds via chemin pédestre en 30 min.
Nous avons adoré notre séjour, aussi bien notre garçon de 9 ans qui a pu profiter des extérieurs après le ski, que nos amis qui ont pu prendre leur petit déjeuner au soleil, face à la nature sur le balcon connexe à la cuisine.

We stayed at La ferme de Vanille for a week (end March/early April). It is extremely well presented, clean, comfortable and well equipped - we wanted for nothing. Weve rented a lot of nice places over the years but this was the first one to provide bathrobes! There were only four of us so we had bags of space but even if all 15 bed spaces were used there would still be plenty of room for everyone. The location of the chalet was very good for ski slopes and village - we had our car with us but for those who dont want to drive the bus stops at the end of the lane. The chalet is oozing Alpine character and will not fail to enchant you. Marie Christine and her husband are charming and easy to converse with so we would have no hesitation in recommending this rental to anybody whos looking for something comfortable, spacious and stylish - a real find!
