About this villa rental
For 10 people, villa with 5 large bedrooms (+ office with PC and Internet), HD TV French channels, Spanish, English (SKY) and German, 4 bathrooms, garden and flowers with bowling alley and basketball ring. Naja with superb arches, allows ping pong in the shade and provides access to a large terrace, private pool 8x4m (with shower) and barbecue. The property has two reception rooms and two kitchens: those of the floor can also be accessed via an external staircase leading to another large terrace with a beautiful view of the monastery and the orange groves and mountains.
Peaceful setting in a residential area, it is located 10 minutes drive from the beautiful sandy beaches of Gandia, easily accessible and with several facilities including port and yacht club and many recreational and sporting activities for young and old. Climbing and hiking (monasteries drive), horse riding (2km), paddle tennis, golf (18 holes in 5 radius of 15-50 km), shooting. Three bikes are available.
Gandia is located 10 minutes drive and has shopping centers and many shops, banks, supermarkets and restaurants; it is rich in cultural activities. Local restaurant to 2 minutes. Discover the beautiful old town of Valencia 1 hour by train or car; You'll also find museums, art galleries and the famous center of Science and Oceanography. The Valencia Airport is 45 minutes from Alicante airport and 1 hour 20 minutes.

The house is super spacious and well equipped. Nice Kitchen in lower and upper floor with fridge and freezer is very helpful for storing all food and drinks. Nice and clean pool. Boule field and equipment and table tennis to have fun and Sharon on site as well as the owner Paul are very supportive. The village itself does noi have a real center. But that way it is super quiet in the night. The roller shutter in the kids room was not functional. Paul and Sharon tried to get a handyman to fix it but there was the manana issue...;-). But not a problem for us. We enjoyed our time a lot and hope to be back ..

The villa and pool are fantastic and spacious. The only issue is there is no air con, which we had overlooked on the booking, which in the middle of a Spanish summer would have been really useful. The nearest bar is fairly small and I wouldn't rely on it for food, serving pizzas from the freezer and running out of fruit juice after ordering just 2, but is fine for a quick drink and some snacks. The local beaches are clean and easy to access.

We had a very good time. Paul was an execellent host. Only please take care - this is a five bedroom place and not a six bedroom place. Otherwise a beautiful place!

Lovely pool area, large bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen. No air con although fans were provided.
