Emerald Dream is a spacious and spirited Oceanfront Home that offers a Private Pool, 7 Guest rooms, and 5.5 Baths.
Enjoy the sunrises and sunsets on the double decks or feel the ocean breeze on the private dune deck. You can relax and rejuvenate in this great beach getaway!
As you walk into the ground level of Emerald Dream you are welcomed into a large recreation room with a suffleboard table. There is a bunk room just around the corner as well as an entrance to the beach walkway and pool area. Also on this level is a guest room with a queen bed with private bath and pool views. The laundry room with a full-sized washer, dryer, and 2nd refrigerator are easy to find as you make your way up the to the next level.
The second floor can easily be described as the bedroom level. Here each guest room is appointed with new decor, comfortable beds, and many bathrooms. There are 2 King suites both with ocean views, deck entry, and private baths. The queen guest room also offers ocean views and deck entry. The additional guest room offering 2 double beds is positioned across from the hall bathroom. As part of the Spinnaker’s Fresh Bed Promise all linens are laundered between guests.
Moving up to the third level you are welcomed into a beautifully updated great room. The kitchen is newly updated but the views are where your eyes tend to focus. The kitchen and dining area provide seating for all. If there are many cooks in the kitchen each will be able to find their workspace and whatever they need to prepare the meal as the cabinets are well equipped. The final guest room is located on this level and offers a King bed, private bath, and deck entrance.
There are oceanfront decks that span the entire width of the home on both the 3rd and 2nd floors... with plenty of deck furniture. The private pool of this home is located on the oceanside of the home and is considered a splash pool. If bringing your dog along is of interest please do but only with a $150 nonrefundable pet fee with a maximum of 2 dogs per stay.
Emerald Dream is located in the Spinnaker’s Reach Community and offers access to the community pool and bath house. This amenity is located just across the street from the home.

The house is in pretty good shape, with a few things that were a little rough around the edges, but it was adequate for our needs. Examples: The door to access deck from center bedroom on second floor wouldn’t open, the entry door with the keypad was sticky in the frame and difficult to open, there were some general maintenance issues on the deck and outdoor stairs that would be nice to have addressed, but certainly not show stoppers.
Ceiling fans had copious amounts of dust on them, main refrigerator was broken (management company did notify us and provided a basic replacement and there is a second refrigerator in the downstairs laundry room),
There is no pool table or ping pong table on the property although the listing shows them.
Bedrooms and bathrooms were as advertised. Main living space on the top floor has a nice deck and good views of the beach. The linens and towels were in place when we arrived and there was a nice welcoming arrangement for my parents who were celebrating their 65th anniversary.
The beach is a quick stroll down the private boardwalk, and driving into the commercial areas of Emerald Isle takes 5 minutes.
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the house for a group get together.
