We are pleased to host you in our cozy oceanfront home, Sea Star. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway, a fun gathering place for the family, or an exciting fishing destination, Sea Star is the place to be! This lovely sea cottage features two separate sides, separated by an open-air breezeway, so your large family can vacation together, but still have moments of privacy.
Each side sleeps 9 guests in 4 spacious bedrooms, and each side has two full baths, one downstairs and one upstairs. Kitchens on each side have full amenities, and the quaint furnishings & breezy colors bring the essence of the seashore inside! Each side has 3 large flat-screen TVs with Spectrum TV cable and high-speed internet.
In addition to being just steps from the surf, Sea Star boasts million-dollar views from both deck-levels. You will enjoy hours of relaxation on the expansive decks below, and the upstairs King bedrooms offer sliding glass doors and a deck with unmatched vistas of the sparkling sands and crystal water. Sip a glass of wine from the upper deck as the sun sets, then create a masterpiece in the kitchen - with freshly-caught local seafood, of course!

We had a great stay at Sea Star. The house is a very short walk from the beach (like 30 yards) and located about 3 miles either direction to the Emerald Isle or Indian Beach commercial areas for amenities. We had both sides of the duplex, so there was plenty of room to spread out.All linens and towels are dropped of clean and beds are easy to make and maintain. The furniture was comfortable, clean, and in good shape. There is enough kitchenware to go around, but it makes things a little easier if you know you are planning to make something that requires special tools to bring it just in case (i.e. like measuring spoons). Everything was pretty clean, no bugs, no ants. Bathrooms were clean, drains ran well.The sliding doors do not have screens, so recommend keeping them closed to sleep at night. The laundry is accessed outside through the basement, so bring a laundry bag/basket. The outdoor shower is about halfway down the walk, and there is an additional exterior hose at the driveway to wash off beach gear, keep sand out of the house.Other than that, the owners are great and had a treat prepared upon our arrival.

The beach house was in a great location—close to everything we needed and perfect for a relaxing trip. Our family and friends had a fantastic time. The house was very clean and exactly as described in the listing. The hosts were awesome—friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We’d definitely stay here again!

It had been several years since our family gathered for our traditional week long stay at the beach, We were very fortunate to be able to rent this property. It fit our group and it's varied needs perfectly. It is wonderfully located and amazingly stocked for any need. The owner communication was so superb. We hope to be able to visit once again soon. This is a perfect "on the beach" property and unhesitatingly highly recommend for anyone to rent and visit.

We rented both sides of the duplex and it was such a wonderful trip. The owner was very responsive to every question and we absolutely loved our stay here. We were just steps from the water and we loved the convenience of being so close to the beach but our little ones could easily go back in and take naps. We loved waking up to the ocean breeze and watching the stars, storms and waves. All the basics were included at the home and even some extras we didn't expect. The location was close to town but still felt so private.
