Its a custom built 43 ft sport fish made for overnight trips with all the comforts of home. Sleeps six and is kept in top notch shape. Has a hot shower, three burner stove with oven, microwave ,coffee maker, toaster, tv 3 ac's, electric skillet, rice maker small fridge , under water lights, ice maker and pot and pans for cooking . This is definitely not 5-star accommodations, so if you're looking for that, look elsewhere. However, it suited our group of three guys well--close to Key West and reasonably priced for a couple of nights. We basically only needed a place to sleep, and it was a unique and fun option that met all of our needs.

We expected that staying on a working fishing boat would be different. While the accommodations were less than luxurious the experience was over the top. The old Key West life style was fabulous - tropical breezes, swaying palms, the gentle rocking of the deck, the warm glow of the open air restaurant, and great food. Captain Eddie touched base often to make sure we had everything we needed.

The Safe Harbor Marina in Stock Island (where the boat is docked) is a very low-key, old school feeling location. The listing is straightforward and describes the experience you have as a guest very well. It’s kind of like camping, but more secure. Capt Eddie is a great communicator and Hogfish bar next door is great.

This boat was amazing. Very clean and comfortable but the best parts were the location and the locals. Everyone we talked to said this was the old Key west and it was a gem. Just being in Eddie’s boat was so peaceful and relaxing and he made our stay remarkable. He met us at the dock upon arrival and went above and beyond to make our stay the best ever. He had so many good recommendations. His boat is located about 50 feet from the Hogfish grill and the food was so very good. Especially the lobster bisque and the bar was never loud. We enjoyed sitting outside relaxing and the sunsets. And the full kitchen made it easy for us to prepare meals. We will definitely be going back and staying in Eddie’s boat again. A true gem with a spectacular host.

This is a charter fishing boat but despite that fact, it’s plenty big enough to be comfortable and meticulously clean. The host was accommodating and communicating with him was flawless with immediate responses to whatever my needs might have been.

It's in a marina next to a fabulous restaurant, so no kayaking out to a mooring ball sailboat. We were able to drop in kayaks and paddle around key west. The boat Capt was so gracious. We will always book here !!!!!!!

Capt Eddies vessel the Capt Andy was as expected and explained. Very clean, comfortable, and close to Key West. The neighborhood getting to the dock isnt the best, but it is quiet, parking can be a little of a challenge, but Eddie has that covered with a reserved spot for his vessal. Just 3 slips away from the Hogfish grill witch has amazing food at reasonable prices. If your looking for something diffrent and something extremely relaxing than the normal VBRO, the Capt Andy is a fantastic choice.

Came to see Jimmy Buffett perform so staying on a boat was icing on the cake, not to mention the Hogfish Bar and Restaurant is right next door. Beds have a thin-ish mattress that were way more comfortable than you would think. I loved staying on the boat and may do it again next time I visit Key West, with my daughters

We could not be happier with our lodging for our trip. We both camp in rv's and campers often. This was very much the marine equivalent of what I'm used to traveling in with my RV. The owner is very transparent and up front, about all information, we requested as we were very unfamiliar with houseboats. It could not have been easier to keep the boat perfect temperature for our stay and we had plenty of electricity for charging our various devices and equipment for our stay. The Marina was more than hospitable with multiple showers/houses with running plumbing with locking doors on both the house and the private bath/shower rooms. The boat has a "head" which is under the standard "RV" principle. The view was beautiful, a bar and grill were a stone's throw away, and the hum of the boat in the lower bunks kept us sleeping like babies. Best stay ever, I have GOT to come back! PS, you HAVE to watch a sunset on the bow!!!!!!

It's exactly what we expected for staying on a fishing boat. No frills, bunks, shower and a terlit! The place was ship shape. And even the keyless entry worked fine. Lol! Eddie our host was great. Made sure we were comfortable. At night after the Hogs breath restaurant next door shut down, it was peaceful. Mornings the same. Would stay there again.

This was our first time staying on a boat and it was awesome!! Captain Eddie was very helpful and in communication with us throughout our whole stay making sure everything was operating correctly and that our needs were met. Everyone was very friendly and we were walking distance from a pool and a restaurant/bar. Working shower and toilet were very nice! 100% recommend the stay, we had a blast. Thanks Eddie and crew!

The check in process was okay but that's about all that was ok. The boat was under major repair. Our shoes actually stuck to the deck due to a tar like substance as we walked on it. There were no chairs to sit on in the most likely place to relax (the back deck) and enjoy the marina. We had to go buy folding chairs to sit on. When you walked into this small boat, it was like walking into a large walk-in closet. The windows (port lights) were all covered with canvas so you couldn't see outside. The galley and head sinks were filthy. The ad claimed to sleep 6 people which was technically true but only little people. I am 5' 9' and my feet were against the wall when I laid down and my head was against the other wall (bulkhead). Imagine sleeping 6 people in one tiny room 8' x 12'. There were no towels on board. There was a very strong chemical smell. I imagine that was used to cover up other smells that might be worse. But the worst thing about this stay is, the owner made a big point in making sure we pretended to be fishing charter clients (which of course we were not). Apparently property management (the marina) does not allow VRBO, overnight rentals. So we were asked to lie in order to cover up their little scam. DON'T STAY HERE!

The boat was pretty clean for a charter boat. Reminded me of an old camper. But was just fine for what I needed. Location was great! Had a hotel pool and 2 restaurants right at the doc and a nice breakfast place about 20 minute walk away.

You can’t use the stove. We were told it was dangerous. The utensils and silverware were in a large plastic container and were dirty and sticky. Cookware and cleaning supplies, etc. thrown under sink No serving bowls except 1 Large plastic bowl. It was also dirty. There were only 3 bath towels, no hand towels, and no washcloths. We had to buy a couple of washcloths, and made do without hand towels. The bathroom sink was dirty. The shower has a window with no way to cover it. We went to dollar tree and got tape and a black plastic tablecloth to cover it up. And it worked fine. The water pump failed and the water heater failed and then kitchen sink faucet stopped working as well. The owner tried to fix quickly but had to order parts. The location was perfect!. Right in front of the pool and very close to

Property owner should mention on VRBO that stove in galley cannot be used. Utensils in galley were mixed together in plastic tub next to sink and had to be cleaned. Sink in bathroom (head) was not clean, old toothpaste etc. had to clean first thing myself. Disappointed in what we paid for. Otherwise, very nice Marina, nice surroundings and very relaxing. Great area, near to everything. First time I can’t give a 5star rating to all the other VRBO properties we have rented.

Capt Robin was very helpful and answered all of our questions. Never saw Edmund but he communicated with us by phone to make sure all was well. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a quiet place to relax. The hotel had great food and we had access to all the amenities.

My husband and I love to stay at this marina! The deck on this boat was perfect for relaxing with a cocktail in the evening, coffee in the am or just relaxing anytime. It is a fishing charter boat, but very clean and the head/shower was nice and roomy. One thing to note when looking to rent...all the beds are bunks. Captain Eddy and Robyn were very accommodating and Robyn stopped by several times to check if we needed anything. We would definitely stay again!

We rented at the last minute as our reservation on another boat fell through. This boat stay turned out to be much better than the other. We had 4 on board for 3 nights and were super comfortable. Captain Eddie was quick to respond to our reservation request and even offered to help us find lodging for one night that he did not have available for us . He communicated with us the day of check-in and let us know that he was unavailable to meet us but Captain Robin would get us squared away. Captain Robin checked us in and got us acclimated to the boat. He was around the marina alot tending to other business during our stay and was always readily available for anything. He was great at giving recommendations and just checking in on us. I joked with him and asked who's Captain Eddie anyway? The air-conditioning was cold, showers were hot and had great water pressure . The boat was clean and we felt very safe in the marina. It was also very quiet at night. Great sleeping! Hopefully we can come back again!

Spent 2 nights in Captain Eddies boat. Perfect size for the 5 of us. The Marina and its amenities were great (showers and bathroom). Property manager Captain Robin was helping and kind. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to look at boats.

I was nervous when my husband said he wanted to stay on a boat, until we got there. Wow! Spacious inside, great shower/water pressure, gorgeous marina amenities to use! Beautiful location, amazing pool, good food nearby, any questions we had were answered immediately and were already planning next years trip to stay here again even longer and adding a fishing trip! It was great. Lots of room in the boat, fully equipped with everything one would expect- kitchen, bathroom with shower, comfortable beds, sitting area, air conditioned ....and a great back deck for sitting and checking out the marina. After all the craziness of Key West touristy area, the boat was great way to get away and enjoy the marina life. Captain Eddie looked after us well. Would highly recommend.
