About this house rental
Originally a barn dating back to 1814, it was converted in 2005 into a small, detached, charming house located between the Maronne and Dordogne valleys, 50 km from Brive and Aurillac and 35 km from Tulle. Private heated pool (8 m × 4 m × 1.5 m), courtyard, and garden. Peace and quiet. Green spaces, hiking trails, lakes, and rivers nearby—ideal for hikers, fishing enthusiasts, and canoeists. Also, within a radius of about 50 km, you can visit castles, caves, wildlife parks, dams in the Dordogne, and more. You can do your shopping in Argentat (7 km), especially on Thursday market day, take a stroll along the docks, and enjoy the evening shopping events., music, etc.—not to mention the village markets and their regional products. .

Wonderful stay at this charming property in Hautefage, our hosts were very welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The beautiful weather helped and the pool was fantastic. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area and we were very sorry to leave at the end of our week. Would happily recommend this property for a great visit!

A lovely, rustic gite, clean, tidy, comfortable and well equipped. Nicely isolated but only 10 minutes from Argentat-sur-Dordogne, with its shops and bars.
The private pool was excellent and the patio was a lovely space to relax in the warm evenings.

Very comfortable property with good outdoor facilities & gorgeous environment for road or mountain biking.
Will be a nice bonus once the local Bar opens as it’s a nice stroll away.
