About this chalet rental

Beautiful chalet located on the south facing side of Les Houches, in the heart of the Chamonix valley with panoramic views of Mont Blanc and only 2 km to the village and the ski slopes.

The chalet is behind an automatic gate and surrounded by a beautiful garden of 2500m². The chalet is laid out over 3 levels:
Basement level: garage with parking for 3 cars, gym, play room for children & ski room .
Ground floor: open plan living area with fireplace, kitchen, dining room, 2 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom with hydro-massage jacuzzi tub and a large sunny terrace (50m2) with stunning views of Mont Blanc and the mountain range.
1st floor: 1 family bedroom with en suite bathroom and its own balcony, 1 bedroom with 4 single beds, a private sauna and shower.

Ideally situated for walking in all seasons. Don’t hesitate to ask for advice on available activities.

Pets are welcome under the responsibility of their own

Wonderful house and view

This is a lovely, private house with a large terrace and terrific views. The property manager is excellent and very solicitous. We have just one observation: we would highly recommend an automatic shutter on the dining room window to keep the house cool during hot summer days.

Great Chalet, Gorgeous Views

My wife and I stayed here between Christmas and New Year's 2016. This chalet is a great mix of central communal spaces, and separate private spaces. The views are spectacular, and the chalet is well appointed. It's a bit outside Chamonix (10-15 min), but we liked that -- it created some separation. Carole was a fantastic host. Great communication. Easy check-in and out. She provided a lot of information about what was happening locally for us. This is a highly recommend place.

This chalet is in a lovely quiet location with stunning views of the Mont Blanc Range from the balcony and all the bedrooms. It is clean and well equipped and the manager friendly and helpful. It is in an excellent position in the valley to visit Chamonix, the Les Bossons Glacier, and the Aguille De Midi. I would recommend this chalet for a family holiday,

Nous avons réservé ce grand chalet une semaine et avons vraiment passé de belles vacances. La propriétaire, Carole est vraiment très sympa et accueillante. Le chalet est très bien équipé (cuisine bien équipée, rangement...) et possède une grande terrasse avec une belle vue ou l'on peut déjeuner. Possibilité de garer 3 voitures dans la propriété. Randonnée possible au départ du chalet , la gare est à 3 minutes en voiture du chalet pour se rendre à chamonix par exemple. Nous recommandons ce chalet.

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans ce très beau et grand chalet. Celui-ci est agréable, confortable, très bien équipé et bien situé pour découvrir une belle région. Le chalet est conforme à la description. La vue est superbe. Hôte irréprochable. Deux tout petits bémols: le wifi un peu faible (en bande passante, et peu accessible dans certaines chambres) et un peu de bruit du trafic routier de la vallée (rien de gênant, mais l'extérieur n'est pas d'une quiétude absolue). Ce qui n'enlève rien à l'évaluation très très positive dans l'ensemble. A recommander sans hésitation. La région est belle mais très fréquentée, n'hésitez pas à sortir des sentiers battus.

Nous avons loué ce chalet pendant une semaine le mois d'août , nous étions 10 avec 3 chiens. Le chalet est sublime, tres bien équipé, la terrace est exeptionelle avec une vue sur les montagnes à couper le souffle. Le chalet à une clôture que permet aux chiens de se balader sans danger et sans péril. L'accueil à ete aussi très chalereux et la maîtresse de maison tres sympa et souriante et prête a donner des conseils. Merci. Le chalet est situé en haut de Les Houches et il reste dans un emplacement très agréable et très tranquil. Nous avons adoré et on y retournera.

Bellissimo e grande chalet di fronte al Monte Bianco. Sono accettati cani che hanno a disposizione un grandissimo giardino e/o bosco completamente recintato e sicuro. Lo chalet è fantastico. Dispone di tutto quello che si ha bisogno. Arredato in stile montano e di classe. Sembra di essere da soli nella montagna perché lo chalet rimane nascosto dalla vegetazione. La proprietaria è molto gentile e pronta ad aiutare per qualsiasi bisogno.

Very nice chalet in the Chamonix valley. Plenty of room to house our large family of 9. Conveniently located close to many attractions. We were provided passes that allowed us to use the train to travel to the various villages in the valley and the Les Houches train station was located a 10-15 walk from the chalet or a 5 min drive. Kitchen was well equipped and there were toys for the kids to play with. Our host, Carole, was very friendly and helped us to identify some family activities in the area. Would recommend to anyone with a large group of people and would consider staying again if in the area.

Magnifique chalet, confortable, 10 personnes y sont à l'aise. Le grand jardin clos est un paradis pour les chiens et le garage pour 3 voitures est très apprécié (surtout en hiver). Un grand merci à Madame Chatelet pour son accueil et sa gentillesse.

La casa è veramente bella, nuova, spaziosa e confortevole con una splendida vista sul Monte Bianco e l'Aguille du Midi. L'abbiamo trovata pulita e completa di biancheria ci avevano anche preparato l'albero di Natale in terrazza e tutte le luci anche in casa. La cucina è completamente equipaggiata di tutto ciò che si possa chiedere. Il bel giardino privato rimane soleggiato tutto il giorno, ideale per il nostro cucciolo di cane, ed una mattina che non avevamo chiuso il cancello abbiamo anche ricevuto la visita di due cerbiatti. La posizione è tranquilla e silenziosa ma a pochi minuti in macchina dalle piste e 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione che congiunge con Chamonix in 15 minuti. Subito fuori dal giardino ci sono diversi sentieri per passeggiare La proprietà ci ha fornito le carte dell'ospite che consentono di utilizzare gratuitamente treno e bus e tutte le indicazioni utili per il nostro soggiorno. Non vediamo l'ora di ritornarci!!!!!

Merci tout d'abord à Mme Chatelet pour son accueil sympathique et efficace! Le chalet, grand et lumineux, est très bien situé, proche de la gare des Houches et bénéficie d'une vue magnifique sur le massif du Mont Blanc depuis sa belle et grande terrasse. Seuls bémols: la salle de sport un peu désuette et sentant le renfermé ainsi que la capacité du réfrigérateur un peu juste en rapport avec la capacité de logement, bref rien de bien grave.

Le chalet est tout simplement sublime, avec une vue incroyable sur la chaîne du Mont Blanc, orienté plein sud avec une terrasse gigantesque. Un lieu incroyable pour un superbe séjour à Chamonix. Excellent accueil et gestionnaire très sympa et très arrangeant.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans un chalet superbe où l'on se sent très vite comme 'à la maison'.Très bon accueil. Le chalet est très agréable avec une belle vue sur l'Aiguille du Midi et le Mont-Blanc , propre et bien équipé. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le coin cheminée. Seul petit bémol au niveau de la literie de la chambre parentale que nous aurions souhaité plus confortable. Très bien situé pour les randonnées à pied ou en raquettes.

La description du chalet est tout à fait exacte, location très propre, bien décorée, beaucoup d'espace, accueil très chaleureux, sauna, baignoire balnéo et salle de jeux pour les enfants sont des plus très appréciables. La grande salle à manger est parfaite pour 10 personnes. Je ne peux que conseiller ce choix. Station bien organisée pour les enfants
