It was good. We are over 60 adults and felt that the jacuzzi should have had safety bars and a non slip mat. Separate shower would have been nice. Bed was very uncomfortable. Needs safety rails on the steps. Everything else was good.

Loved the old-world charm of the cabin. I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it was inside and the privacy. The only thing I would change is to place a sign on a post noting the reserved spot. When we returned the lot was almost full and our spot was taken. I dropped my husband off who has mobility issues and then had to park in an available spot further down until the vehicle finally left that evening.

The address we received the day prior to arrival, is a Mr Gattis Pizza rest parking lot. We called the 24 hour check in as we couldnt find the property. We received a text an hour later that our contact was her sons baseball game and just saw our call. Upon entering the renwe discovered the tiolet was literally in the middle of the bedroom. No door, just a shower fashioned with an inappropriate sign over the space that read Outhouse. This is truly the most uncomfortable experience I've had with my wife. The fact that it was not disclosed more appropriately that there was no bathroom, but simply a toilet in the middle of the bedroom with a shower curtain, is bad Manners given the expense of renting a unit with absolute charm. I then complained, with a text informing the email that I received that we were leaving a day early, and we didn't get a response. I followed up with another complaint several days later and got a response that I would be contacted within 24 hours. That was March 7th, a week ago. And still no response. I rented from absolute charm three times in the past and not had an issue, but this was an unacceptable situation and very poor management and follow up. Anin fact, the

Cool little place.. the village next to it was interesting a well. VERY close to the airport. Bad thing is that is right on the middle of Mr gettis parking lot.. had a bit of a time thinking the place in the pics was in the middle of a parking lot. Besides that, it was wonderful.

The cabin was great. My only recommendation for change would be to give the toilet area a private door, instead of the curtain. Since there are no physical doors anywhere, it makes it awkward, especially if you were on a romantic getaway. We loved everything else about our stay.

We had it reserved for 3 nights only stayed one night went and stayed in town at the Peachtree Inn this is not what we expected didn't know Gatti's pizza was right there really no privacy to sit outside because of all the people coming in and out from Gatti's Pizza had a fence up, but if we could see through the fence, I know they could see through the fence also.dogs barked all night long and front door my wife couldn't open.No privacy found scorpions in room there is no slip protection in tub (tub is slick no handrail or steps something to make it easier to get in and out of tub )really no privacy for the toilet in the bathroom just a shower curtain and it's right in the bedroom so the other side, cotton gin village serve breakfast, Gatti's pizza music played all night long and we had to carry our luggage across the parking lot designated parking, somebody was already parked in those places there was nothing in the ad that said that we had to park in a Gatti's parking lot haven't been to a cabin that we had to make our own breakfast that didn't have a stove or a stove top to cook on if this is not a bed and breakfast as your signs say out front of place ( I have pic)There is no privacy or quiet time.. On a good note it's very cutely decorated cabin. I would love the cabin not the location. tried calling somebody about the place and they told us she was only the cleaning lady that was the number we were supposed to call if we had any problems when we booked a place, it did n

It was a nice quiet cabin . Located short distances from all of the area attractions we lived it. Thanks for the time there. I would say check out the coffee pot I tried 2 times to make it work but never could and I have a kureig at home I use so I don't know what I was doing wrong. But again we lived it.

Cabin was neat but location is awful. Thought we would be secluded. Not so. Parking in the evening is terrible because it's shared with Gatti's Pizza. Had to park way away from our cabin. Also a little loud in the evenings. A/C did t cool the cabin very well. Glad we didn't stay in the spring or summer. Also, really didn't like the toilet and tub/shower being right in the bedroom with us. Other than that, we did t experience any problems and we had a great time in Fredericksburg. The town is great! Will visit again but will find somewhere else to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Grist Mill Cabin. Two things I would say. The steps are hard to navigate without a rail and the bathtub was hard to get in. We are both over 65 so in case you’re a senior citizen you might think about that. When we arrived on Monday around 6 PM we had to drive around the parking lot 3 times to find a parking place because Me. Gatti’s Pizza was busy.

The people we worked with (reservations, housekeeping, etc.) were wonderful. A few things make this a 4-star review. The location is immediately next to a fairly large Mr. Gatti's pizza. Therefore, it is NOT remote. On the other side, there is an SPCA kennel that you WILL hear in the mornings especially. This used to be a B&B surrounded by fields and other small cabins. Then...A chain pizza joint moved in :( The cabin itself is unique and fun! Nice fireplace, small kitchenette, large bedroom with attached toilet and large jet tub/shower combo. No issues with the bedroom setup except having nightstands on both sides of a king bed would be nice. Note - other than a curtain around the toilet and another at the entrance to the bedroom, no privacy in the bedroom/bathroom. The kitchenette is just a sink, small microwave, and 1/4 size refrigerator. It is functional like a hotel room. Small dining area attached. Living room and kitchenette are combined and the couch and fireplace were nice. Especially the fireplace! Around the entire cabin, there are empty wine bottles serving as a remnant of previous stays. It is a nice touch, but it's gone a little overboard and we had to move dozens of them to have some horizontal space for our items and Christmas dinner prep/serving. Not a big negative if they'll just keep some more unique ones and save some shelf space :) Location - some maintenance issues - and some miscommunication about the fire pit, fireplace, and wood = 4-stars.

The venue includes a goldfish pond with a water wheel, great security, very cozy, and comfortable. It would be nice to have a gas burning fire place instead of a wood burning fireplace. I plan on renting again next year… Loved all of the decor. Ben and Cheryl

Very nice, cute cabin. Walking distance to The Cabernet Grill, which is very good. Also, close to Lady Bird Johnson Park and the Gillespie Fairgrounds, if you are attending events at either. Outside of town, but still a very short drive. Even though you are next to Mr. Gatti's, it still has a country feel.
