In Drôme Provençale, in the Enclave of the popes, in the heart of a village with commandery Templar, beautiful stone house completely renovated in 2016 of 140 m², composed of a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, one with private bathroom, a separate bathroom, a large garden of 500 m² with salt pool, old style basin and private parking 3/4 places.
House adjoining the owners. Quiet environment, close to conveniences, (grocery / bread within 500 m) and tourist places like the castle of Grignan, Nyons, Vaison la Romaine, Valréas and the Crocodile Farm in 20 min, Ardèche.
You will be charmed by its quality of restoration and its comfort.

Loved Richerenches such a quaint lovely village convenient to so many historical landmarks.The house was perfect-every view was enchanting. Rooms were large and nicely decorated.I already miss being there…..

This property was beautiful and well presented. The grounds were lovely, and the patio/pool were used every day. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, appliances and a pantry of items. Just a minutes walk to the shop each day to buy baguette and croissants. We hired bikes from Bike service 26 who delivered. Note….some of the local restaurants need to be prebooked and are only open on certain days. Thank you to our hosts Lucie and Brigitte.

Very impressed with our home for over a month. It was more than we expected. The hosts were lovely and would recommend here to stay. We had a fabulous time exploring and sampling the beautiful Provence. Would very much love to return in the future.

We travel, a lot, and we have stayed in some amazing properties over the years, but this one rates among our top two favorites! Everything you read about it is accurate, if only the photos could do it justice! This is a historic building that has been magically and lovingly restored with attention to comfort, style, and modern conveniences. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the location is perfect for exploring the many, many nearby sites or for just enjoying the medieval village of Richerenches or lounging in your own private pool. We were very sad to leave such a fabulous vacation property managed by a fabulous mother/daughter team - this gîte certainly begs a return!

We spent a very pleasant week in La Chrysalide in Richerenches. The house is much bigger than the photographs on the website suggest. Upon arrival we were given a warm welcome by Brigitte and her daughter Lucie, who lives next door. The house was very clean and is provided with a vacuum cleaner, etc. to keep it that way during your stay. Thick walls keep the afternoon heat outside. The washing machine and dryer are very helpfull if your travelling with young children. The kitchen is also great and has all the aplliances you need, the american refrigerator even provides ice for your pastis... We loved the terras and the well maintained garden, our children were in love with the pool. The small village has an épicerie for bread and croissants and a good bar. O 'Rabasse is a fantastic restaurant only 50 meters away. The region is beautiful and be sure to visit some nearby markets (Grignan, Valréas, Nyons, ...) for local delicacies. La Chrysalide truly was a home away from home and we recommend it higly!

We stayed for a family holiday. The house is beautiful, comfortable and really well equipped. It is in a great place in the village but still feels really peaceful and private. The welcome from Lucie and her husband was very warm and they were lovely. We had a brilliant holiday and didn't want to leave! Merci bien Lucie!!

We stayed there in July with our three school-aged kids and had a fabulous time. It is a very quiet village with a few cafes, two restaurants and one small grocer. The house is recently renovated and extremely comfortable. We spent most of our time on the terrace with the kids in the pool. There are lots of castles to explore nearby. We would definitely go back.
