About this villa rental
Pleasant and atypical house with large garden quiet to put the bags for 1 or 2 weeks.
Close to all shops, beaches, aquatic center, marsh, Ile de Ré, Ile d'Oleron, it is ideal for family holidays or with friends, a house in town with the calm of the countryside.
Ideally located, the house is on the town of Aytré but facing the panel of La Rochelle.
It is 5 minutes from the Old Port and the hyper-center of La Rochelle, the beach and the district of Minimes and 10 minutes from the beach and the village of Aytré.
This house of 150m2 offering 8 beds + 1 cot + 2 extra beds or sleeping for child is composed:
- a large ground floor: entrance, living room, kitchen, utility room, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 w. c.
- half floor: attic room, extra beds and office

The house and garden were beautiful and the host very helpful. Loads of seating areas inside and out…. My only request would be for more cushions for the outdoor seating but maybe that’s me showing my age.The location was an easy walk into La Rochelle and ‘yello’ bikes were great to speed your return home. There were some lovely restaurants in the surrounding area and a bakery and supermarket a short walk away. Île de Rè is easily reached by car or bus and has some fabulous beaches. All in all a great holiday home for our family of 5.

The house is in impeccable state and as clean as one would hope for in a good hotel.
The swimming pool was very well maintained. The kitchen and bathrooms were luxuriously equipped and furnished, which in our case says a lot, since we went there with our family of six kids.
The owners were very friendly, open and warm towards our family. We could easily text them in case of practical problems (e.g. for bags for the dustbins).
The house is within walking distance of the centre of La Rochelle and its various beaches, which leaves the opportunity to leave the car at the house (parking foreseen). Bakery and supermarket are conveniently close-by.
On the drive back, we received a text message with the items we forgot at the house (along which are house keys). They have kindly sent them over via mail.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, la maison est très bien et la famille très accueillante. Si nous revenons dans la région, nous n'hésiterons pas à retourner dans cette location. Merci pour l'accueil (seul bémol, les frais de ménage sont un peu élevés)
