Clean spacious well maintained complex. Enjoyable relaxing atmosphere. Within walking distance to most sites and restaurants. My teenager’s said it was peaceful and felt like home. They also like the cat that roamed around the inside of the complex. The owners went above and beyond for us at check in and help arrange transportation upon check out. Very accommodating.

Tom has a great property and is SUPER responsive prior to checking in and during/after the stay. Housekeeping does an excellent job maintaining cleanliness of the room and the property. The cat is very friendly. Walking to the middle of town takes approximately 12-15 mins depending on your pace. But the entire area is very safe clean and friendly.

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay in Apt 1 for 8 nights. The apartments are located towards the edge of Antigua which meant that it is quieter and the actual street the apartments are located on is not on a Chicken Bus route which as far as we were concerned was a very good thing! It took us about 10-12 mins to walk from the apartment to the Central Park and less to the market / bus station. If we didnt feel like walking then very easy and cheap to get a tuk tuk. We didnt tend to stay out late - but would think that as with anywhere in Antigua better to get a tuk tuk back after dark. The apartment was beautifully decorated and well equipped - and we all agreed that having spent 6 weeks in Guatemala the lovely hot powerful shower and the bathroom was absolutely the best! We also appreciated the kitchen and nice extras such a good blender/ smoothie maker which when there is a market not too far away meant that we were able to make our own liquados (smoothies). Great to have a flat screen TV - although only BBC and CNN were in English - but watching a film dubbed into Spanish is a good way of practising! All the staff were helpful and many thanks to Sonia who made my husband some herbal tea to help him with a nasty cough and cold, and to Antonia for keeping the place spick and span and for showing us around another of the apartments - most have an upstairs with wonderful views. If we were planning another trip to Antigua and wanted to self cater then would have no hestitation in staying here again.
