About this house rental

Nice cottage on one level with all the comforts where you will find peace, greenery to spend a stay or a weekend in peace in a pleasant setting. This old building, dependent on the water mill, has been completely restored and converted into comfortable accommodation.
You can also enjoy the large shaded garden with its century-old oaks.

Delightful property set in beautiful gardens with lovely hosts. Lovely to see the rabbits and red squirrels visiting the garden. Would highly recommend this peoperty.

This is a stunning rural property. The rental home has a private garden with pond and the views can be enjoyed from either inside or on the terrace. There is a spacious kitchen, living-dining room, bedroom and bath with shower, all well equipped and full of light. The owners live only steps away and are very discreet. We only wished we could have stayed longer, much longer. Thank you Jacky.

We had an amazing stay at the moulin d’epasse. The property and surroundings were much better than the photos online. The owners were very hospitable and had left us some refreshing local juices in the fridge. The level of care evident in the surrounding gardens was off the scale and the house was spotless. We truly felt at home and really lacked nothing. There was a lot to see locally and many places of historical interest in Chateaudun and Chartres. The locals In Brou were very friendly and supermarkets nearby. The pool was heavenly. We were really impressed with the owners who were helpful but very discreet. Basically an incredible stay. Can’t wait to come back!

Jacky and his wife were lovely hosts, the property was clean and very nice indeed, with a massive garden which included a pond and a lovely pool. We’d certainly recommend staying here. If you’re after a hyper modern holiday, this probably isn’t your best location, however, if you’re after a relaxing and quite family location than this is certainly an option worth considering.

Owners made us very welcome from the start, even with our lack of the french language. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean house , with everything we needed. Jacky and his wife take great care in presenting a lovely garden with a lovely pool . Very private and peaceful. We had a lovely relaxing week. Amazing find. Thank you both so much Mike & Gerri

Amazing retreat on the countryside

Me and my wife got a warm welcoming at our first day, and even certain language differences (I don’t speak French), Jacky and her husband gave us an understandable introduction to the house and the practicality around it. The house had everything we needed, from comfy beds to a well equipped kitchen. And everything was so clean and well taken care of from the owners. Like the patio overlooking the garden, with the pond with various fishes, to the private and gorgeous pool, that was amazing during the heat wave in late June(!). The older pictures on the site just gives you a glimpse of the house and garden, but it's actually much more beautiful in the reality. It was just fantastic!

Lovely old property that has been renovated to a high standard. All as per description & we had no problems during our stay. Owners do not speak English but are friendly & helpful. No English channels on tv, but I can get these on my laptop. We had a lovely relaxing holiday & recommend it highly.

Quel plaisir de trouver un environnement aussi paisible et reposant . Dans cette maison de pays , bordée de ruisseaux, d’arbres magnifiques avec un jardin paysagé parfaitement entretenu et avec goût . Quel bonheur de pouvoir se préparer un bon barbecue avant de plonger une tête dans la piscine avant de lire un bon livre dans un environnement apaisant . Un havre de paix ans dans la nature Le gite est très bien aménagé et son parc une merveille. Dans le champ voisin nous avons pu voir des chevreuils, un renard, des hérons, des lièvres.... Une semaine à l'écart en pleine campagne dans une maisonnette climatisée, en pleine canicule, avec une piscine pour se rafraîchir avec les enfants. Nous avons passés des temps privilégiés de partage juste nos enfants et nous sans vis à vis. Un acceuil de qualité et une disponibilité de nos hôtes excellente, le logement est complètement équipé, machine à café, lave linge, lave vaisselle, télé, wifi, serviette de bain, une cuisine équipée. Une belle semaine en toute simplicité pour notre famille. L'immense jardin et la possibilité de faire des randonnées favorise à mon sens des temps de retraites personnelles, spirituelles ou de santé.

Lieu calme et reposant dans un jardin florissant. Les propriétaires sont très discrets et disponibles si besoin. Nous mettent rapidement a l aise. Tout sur place pour passer un agréable séjour: barbecue, terrasse, équipements pour bébé ( chaise haute et lit bébé au besoin) et surtout un grand jardin très bien entretenu. Attention tout de même pour ceux venant avec des enfants en bas âge : a les surveiller car piscine et 2 cours d eau a proximité. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir

Très bon accueil des propriétaires et des petites attentions qui font toute la différence :-) La grande terrasse (et les grandes baies vitrées) donnant sur la mare et les grands espaces verts alentour, permet de se relaxer et de profiter du silence des lieux. Colocation agréable avec des canards et des petits lapins :-)
