About this house rental
Sit back, relax and soak up the sun at this perfect holiday home right on the beach at Oamaru Bay. Situated less than 10 minutes drive from the heart of Coromandel, this Kiwi Bach is ideal for that family getaway or simply time away with friends.
Less than 50 meters from your door is a safe swimming sandy beach where you can watch the kids from the picnic tables under the trees or better still right from the comfort of your own balcony. For the keen fisherman, your boat ramp is right there in the centre of the Bay!
For added privacy and space amongst guests, there are 2 bedrooms both upstairs and down, each floor with their own bathroom. Please note that the bedrooms downstairs are only accessible from the ground floor exterior door. They cannot be entered internally from upstairs so please take this into consideration if you are travelling with multiple young ones. Bunk room downstairs is a small room so more suitable for children.
A ranch slider from the lounge leads to a large deck facing out to amazing panoramic views of the Bay and Islands, not to mention those incredible sunsets.
It has a six seater table/chairs and retractable shade awning.
Amidst the open plan layout upstairs is a fully equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher and full size fridge/freezer and second fridge. There's plenty of kitchenware, electric frypan, rice cooker, toasted sandwich maker and more.
The TV, stereo system, DVD player and DVD's, 2 kayaks, 5 boogey boards, cricket set, badminton set, dart board and loads of board games has your outdoor and indoor entertainment covered.
The sheltered back patio area with full size Weber BBQ has a 6 seater table and chairs.
For the fishing enthusiasts there is a filleting area and bait freezer downstairs. The garage is also the perfect spot to lock up all of that precious fishing/diving gear should you need.
So whether you are fishing, swimming, sunbathing, swaying from the swings, (usually in the trees out front), or simply relaxing on the deck, this magical spot is the place for you.

Great place and great location. Good swimming just across the road. Loved having the kayaks to use. If we could afford it we’d be back every year.

We stay in Oamaru bay about 6 times a year. We have a caravan at the camp. 4 of us stayed in this awesome bach as we had a over flow of family. This bach is perfect. Has everything you need from bait freezer down stairs and 2 fridges up stairs. Stunning veiws and super close to boat ramp which was handy for parking on busy fishing days. Will definitely recommend to others and it made the return to the caravan very hard.

As to this pricing we probably wouldn’t be staying in a place like this again
And we do travel 3-4 times a year
