The property is spacious and located well for Getting to Wernigerode (about 5 miles) and the Harz National Park. I liked that guests receive a free pass to use the local buses (two per hour) to get to nearby towns for the duraction of your stay. That was very helpful.
There was some noise from the busy road which is about 200m away which meant that the garden was not perfectly tranquil, however it is private and spacious and I was happy to sit out and enjoy the birdsong.
