About this house rental

From the bay window you can contemplate the sea. Living room and spacious and equipped kitchen, bathroom with 2 showers and separate toilet. Upstairs 3 bedrooms: bedroom n ° 1 double bed, bedroom n ° 2 double bed, bedroom n ° 3, 2 bunk beds (4 people) suitable for children. On this floor there is also a shower room and 1 separate toilet. The house is on a closed plot of 1000m2 with a beautiful terrace equipped with teak table and chairs, and 8 sunbathing areas facing south with a heated swimming pool of 9x5 in function (only in high season) we leave our 2 sea kayaks at your disposal. BBQ Linens provided

As others have said, the pictures really don't do justiice to the property, which is large and beautiful. Picture windows in the living room give beautiful views of the sea; the beach is rocky, with rockpools at low tide, and we saw seals several times. The kitchen is well equipped and the pool was lovely. We enjoyed local walks (including climbing the Gatteville lighthouse) and generally had a great holiday. The kayaks are no longer available for guests to use.

We were in town for the 80th anniversary of D-Day. We were greeted by our lovely hosts and a beautiful gift! The house and location are beyond stunning. We could not have asked for a more special place for a few days to relax on an otherwise stressful trip! The hosts were accommodating, polite, and kind. The house is charming, tastefully decorated, and location is perfection. Our children are begging to return. We wished we could have stayed longer! Thank you for having us!

I cannot rate this home highly enough. It is designed perfectly and has everything you need. Stunning views of the sea. The rooms and pool are larger than they appear on the photos. People walking past were all praising the house. Fabulous communication with Corinne. Nearest supermarket is a 10 minutes drive/an hour walk. You do need a car to get around. We had 2 weeks here, and drove to Disneyland for a few days, to Mont St Michel, Bayeaux Tapestry and the Normandy Landing beaches. Brilliant location near the Ferry port. We took a kayak out, played boules and spent a lot of time in the pool. Please note the beach is stoney not sandy, from google earth it looked sandy. But the kids loved going crabbing and clambering over the rocks. Highly recommend and no doubt will be returning at some point in the future!

We had an extremely relaxing stay in Vicq-sur-Mer this summer. Our kids played in the pool every day whilst we ate bread, drank some lovely wines and enjoyed each others company away from the hustle and bustle of busy working lives. The property had everything that we wanted and was amazing to wake up every day to the ocean views enjoyed from every room at the front of the house. The walks on the beach were mostly very private too. The owners were very welcoming and Corinne and Bernard ensured that they were available (we saw them once for a pool top up) during our stay. Overall, we couldn't have asked for more. The Morrows

The views are breathtaking, the pool a fun place for the kids to play and the peace and beautiful surroundings just what we needed. Wir waren mit zwei Familie in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Wir wurden von Corinne und Bernard sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, mit vielen schönen Details. Und bietet alles was man braucht und noch vieles mehr unter anderem Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Küchenuntensilien,Kinderstuhl und Wickelmöglickeit. Die Lage direkt am Meer rundet das ganze ab und macht es einem sehr leicht, direkt abzuschalten. Der beheizte Pool war für die 4 Kinder das absolute Highlight. Zudem gibt es eine Sicherheitsvorkehrungen für Kleinkinder in Form von Armbändern, die einen sehr lauten Alarm auslösen, sobald sie mit Wasser in Berührung kommen. Dies war für uns mit zwei Kleinkindern sehr von Vorteil. Der Ort selbst ist sehr klein, im Nachbarort gibt es aber viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, unter anderem auch einen Wochenmarkt der jeden Mittwoch stattfindet. Auch bei der Gestaltung der Freizeitmöglichkeiten, haben uns Corinne und Bernard jederzeit geholfen und es möglich gemacht. Sie waren sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit bereit. Alles in allem, ein absolut gelungener Urlaub und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Die gezeigten Bilder sind schon vielversprechend, die Realität ist noch besser.... Ein Traum wird wahr! Die Lage ist atemberaubend, das Haus stilvoll eingerichtet mit Allem, was man braucht oder sogar mehr (z,B, 3 Duschen). Wir waren mit 3 Kindern (7,8,10) da und haben alle die Zeit insbesondere auch wegen des beheizten Pools und der täglich vorbei schauenden Robben sehr genossen, Erholung von der ersten Minute, wir kommen wieder.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille dans cette charmante maison en front de mer. Nous avions besoin d'un grand bol d'air après cette année confinée. C'était parfait ! Les promenades à la plage à 1mn au bout du chemin, la vue sur la mer dans tous ses états depuis la baie vitrée du séjour et la lecture au coin du feu. La maison est confortable et très bien équipée (équipment cuisine - top n°1 de mon expérience Abritel-Homelidays) c'est très appréciable lorsqu'on a des enfants et qu'on aime cuisiner (et que les restos sont fermés a cause de la Covid-19). Nous reviendrons volontiers aux beaux jours pour profiter de la piscine.

La maison est chaleureuse, literie très bonne, au calme, panier d'accueil, propreté et rangement parfaits, équipements de la maison impeccables ! La maison est superbe. Nous avons passé un chouette séjour. Confinés 2 jours, les pieds dans l'eau, on s'en souviendra ... Je recommande à 100ù% ! Nous reviendrons avec GRAND plaisir.

La maison est encore plus belle que sur les photos, idéalement située, face à la mer. A l’intérieur tout est chaleureux et fonctionnel, la décoration est à l’image du reste, douce et harmonieuse. Les propriétaires ont été adorables, et nous ont donné plein d’informations sur les environs. Nous reviendrons assurément dans ce petit havre de paix à nulle autre pareil.

Ein wunderschöne Ecke der Welt die man in diesem Haus wirklich genießen kann! Wer Action sucht ist hier falsch, aber Naturliebhaber kommen voll auf ihre Kosten! Das Haus wurde von Vermietern, die das Haus auch privat nutzen, in liebevoller Kleinarbeit renoviert und ist das schönste Haus weit und breit. Es gibt nur wenig benachbarte Häuser die alle nicht so großzügig angelegt sind. Im Haus selber gibt es alles was man braucht. Das Haus bietet reichlich Platz mit 3 separaten Schlafzimmern oben und Wohnraum und Küche unten. Dazu der Pool im Hinterhof, eine Wiese vor und hinter dem Haus. Es gibt zu jeder Tageszeit einen Fleck auf dem Grundstück wo die Sonne hinscheint. Abends kann man von den Stühlen vor dem Haus den Sonnenuntergang beobachten. Das Haus liegt direkt am Meer, vom Meer durch einen Steinwall abgetrennt. Bei Ebbe geht das Meer weit zurück und bei Flut kommt es fast bis an die Wand. Highlight waren die Robben, die jeden Tag bei Flut zu erkennen waren - direkt vor dem Haus. Es gibt nur wenige Spaziergänger und 2 Strände rechts und links vom Haus. Hier wird bei Ebbe viel gefischt, sonst sind die Stränge relativ leer, und teilweise Vogelschutzzone. Im nahe gelegenen St. Pierre Eglise gibt es alles was man braucht, auch einen großen Supermarkt. Der Pool ist gut beheizt und wurde bei gutem Wetter von unseren Kindern (3-9) ausgiebig genutzt, eventuell müsste man ihn bei so ausgiebiger Nutzung häufiger reinigen, das hat man schon gemerkt, weil es doch auch windig ist. Die Vermieter waren unglaublich nett und gut zu erreichen. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub und kommen gerne wieder! Merci!

Very nice holiday. The house was more then well equipted and very clean. The house is spacious enough! The heated outside swimmingpool was excellent! The owners are the most friendly French we met. They made this house a place to go back to. If you want to sea and hear the sea and you want privacy.... go to this place!!! Family with 3 kids (15, 12 and 7).

La perfection n'existe pas mais là, on n'est vraiment pas loin… Les propriétaires ? charmants, accueillants, communicants, avenants.. Très discrets mais on a envie de les connaître mieux. La maison ? Tout est bien pensé. Il ne manque rien. Des emplacements extérieurs réfléchis en fonction du soleil... Un couché de l'astre solaire à tomber...Parfait ! Et une sublime piscine chauffée! La situation ? Face à la mer… St Pierre l'église juste à coté avec tous commerces (boucher traiteur, poissonnier, carrefour + essence etc.)… proche de Barfleur, St Vaast la hougue… C'est magnifique ! Un temps très agréable, tempéré qui n'empêche pas de prendre des couleurs...Des promenades en sortie de maison… On peut se poser là, sans avoir l'intention de bouger. Mais surtout, n'y aller pas ! Je vous dis ça juste pour être sûr qu'on puisse une nouvelle fois réserver sans problème :-)

Nous avons passé 10 jours merveilleux dans ce chalet. Il est bien équipé, rien ne manque. La piscine est chauffée, vous pouvez donc nager même par mauvais temps. Seule l’alarme s’est soudainement déclenchée deux fois, mais le problème a été résolu très rapidement. Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise et ne pouvons que recommander la maison et l'emplacement. La communication avec la propriétaire était très agréable et chaleureuse. Merci Corinne <3

Tout était parfait, de l'accueil du propriétaire jusqu'à notre départ. Dès la visite des lieux on sait que l'on va se sentir comme un poisson dans l'eau !... Nous avons profité pleinement de la maison et de tout ce qu'elle avait à nous offrir : BBQ au bord de la piscine, jeux et baignades à toute heure, sans oublier le magnifique coucher de soleil sur la mer chaque soir. La maison est splendide, décorée avec goût et soin. Les propriétaires ont mis la barre très haut, nous n'avons manqué de rien car tout est bien pensé.

Nous avons passé le réveillon au coin du feu avec la belle vue sur la mer déchaînée. Nos hôtes très (très) sympathiques et arrangeant. Et que dire de la maison. Chauffage au sol, joliment décorée, la cheminée .... tout y est. N’hésitez pas c’est magnifique.
