About this apartment rental

Independent apartment in house. Enjoy the lake and the river. Quiet location and dead end street so no traffic which gives you additional tranquility.
Quiet neighborhood also.

Independent entrance of the owners of the house.
Rental for adults and children.

Cultural activities lyric festival (orange chorégies in July) and Roman city (ancient theater and Roman triumphal arch).

Orange is a starting point for many historic, cultural and natural sites that the owners will be happy to point out to you.

Everything required for a two week break was on hand. Patrick and Annie were very helpful, and even did an itinerary for us for a trip into the hills. The pool was a nice distraction in the hot weather. Very good location for seeing the many sights in Provence.

Great place in a quiet neighborhood

Great place in a quiet neighborhood

We were looking for a base in Provence, from which we could explore the vast wealth of history, culture and scenery of Provence. This place proved nearly perfect for that purpose! This rental was our first experience with an online vacation rental property. I must say, it was very pleasant. Owners Patrick and Annie were very gracious hosts, and though we struggled with our lack of language skills (Patrick's English being far better than our French!), we were always able to communicate effectively. We were driving a rental car, and wanted a place where we could park the vehicle off the street, behind a wall/gate. This rental provided that. The apartment itself is attached to the main house (most of the owners' living space is on the second floor). There was a bit of noise through the floor, and from water running, etc. But otherwise the ground-floor apartment is quiet and comfy, and quite secure. Annie maintains a beautiful yard and immaculate vegetable garden, so in addition to a nice apartment, the surroundings are very attractive. The swimming pool is available for guests, though we did not take advantage of it. The kitchen/dining area is small, but well-equipped and effective. We did not do any real cooking, but did bring groceries in for breakfasts, and made use of the coffee-maker, toaster, microwave, refrigerator, etc. Patrick operates a very effective water-softener, and the water is extremely soft. Sink/shower (and separate toilet room) are clean and bright. This home is in a relatively new suburb of Orange, and there are not many nearby places to eat. There is a very nice bakery within blocks, and we made regular use of its products! But downtown Orange is not far, with a multitude of places to shop and eat. There is a large Carrefour shopping center not far away. Patrick told me we were their first American guests, so I made it a point to communicate with him via email, in advance of our visit, composing in English and including a Google translation into French. This seemed to work well to bridge the language gap. I really can't recommend this rental highly enough!

Vi har haft et dejligt ophold i ferieboligen hos Patrick og Annie. De har været så venlige, imødekommende og hjælpsomme, lige fra de tog imod os ved ankomsten. Boligen ligger i en lille smuk, lukket have for enden af en blind vej i et meget roligt kvarter. Vi havde nøgle til vores egen port og indkørsel, egen terrasse, adgang til have og pool. Alt var rent og pænt både ude og inde, og der manglede ikke noget. Det er et sted, vi gerne ville vende tilbage til igen, hvis det kunne blive muligt, og vi anbefaler det gerne til andre. Location agréable et fort bien entretenue . La piscine reste un plus pour se détendre après une journée de visite . Idéalement située car à proximité du centre historique et un point de départ pour visiter la région sans faire trop de kilomètres . Aangename en verzorgde vakantiewoning met privé-zwembad op fietsafstand van het centrum van Orange. Heel rustige omgeving en dat in een stad! Vriendelijke eigenaars die naast de woning wonen, maar toch je privacy respecteren. Fijn dat we 2 fietsen van de eigenaars mochten lenen gedurende de vakantieweek. Ideaal voor een koppel dat rust wenst te combineren met fiets- of andere uitstapjes. Enig minpuntje: slechte WIFI en beperkt internet. Voor het overige: aanradertje!

Une location tout aussi charmante que ses propriétaires L'équipement est parfait, rien ne manque ; logement d'une propreté impeccable comprenant literie confortable. C'est un endroit très calme, très agréable à vivre, avec sa terrasse ensoleillée et sa piscine très appréciable. Ce fut un plaisir d'échanger avec M. Et Mme Perrier ; personnes discrètes et très chaleureuses à la fois, il m'a été très agréables de les croiser le matin pour bien commencer la journée. Merci pour votre bienveillance. Orange permet d'être pres d'Avignon, Montpellier et bien d'autres sites. C'est un endroit où j'espère retourner me reposer à d'autres occasions, et pourquoi en d'autres saisons. Une location à choisir sans hésitation !

Pour avoir séjourné 2 semaines, j'ai constaté que la location est conforme au descriptif. Intérieur et extérieur très agréable à vivre avec le plein pied bien ombragé. Avec la piscine c'est le plus. Quartier calme. Location géographiquement bien placée. Beaucoup de visites dans un rayon de 30/40 Kms. Très belle location, conforme aux photos postées, propre, calme, piscine entretenue, nous avons passés un agréable séjour, les propriétaires sont très accueillants et à l'coute de nos besoins, ils nous informent et nous conseillent sur la région et beaucoup de dépliants sur place pour tout type de visites (sport, loisirs, visite ludique etc..
