Note: Guests cross rarely active railroad tracks to access the lake. We have not seen trains in years but on rare occasions there may be some equipment moved.

My group of college buddies stayed here for Cornell homecoming and it worked out perfectly. The owner was super responsive to requests, the accommodations worked very well and easily accommodated our dozen or so attendees. Beautiful view of Lake Cayuga and getting to and from campus was not a problem. Made for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend of sitting on the porch overlooking the lake and reuniting.

My extended family of 14 spent a wonderful week at Cayuga Cabins in mid-July 2021. We were treated to the brand new, huge, gorgeous porch, where we ate all our meals and did a lot of hanging out. The temperate weather and gentle breeze were perfect. We also spent a lot of time on the boathouse deck down by the lake and around the campfire at night.These two cabins were the cleanest rental units I have ever stayed in. The kitchen was equipped with great appliances and all the utensils and tools we needed. The gas grill was easy to use; you just need to give the second and third burners time to warm up. We enjoyed visiting Cornell, the many waterfalls in the area, a couple local wineries, and we played tennis at the Ithaca High School courts. One warning - maybe don't bring a party of 10 people to dine at the Pub at Rogue's Harbor Inn; we waited a very long time for our food.Communication with owner Steve was great. He checked on us a few times during the week and always responded promptly to any questions we had.Great houses, stunning porch, beautiful views, fun on and around Cayuga Lake -- we couldn't ask for more! Highly, highly recommended!
