This absolutely charming, renovated period cottage is ideally located in the highly sought after Fern Avenue. Located just 5 minutes walk from Lorne shops, restaurants and beaches, Valetta is a simple yet spectacular family beach home. Enjoy the character and ambience of 12 foot high ceilings, polished wooden floorboards and wrap-around verandah with ocean views. Set in sprawling private gardens, multiple outdoor sitting/dining areas and paved courtyard. The combined lounge/dining area is flanked by glass doors bringing the outdoor spaces inside and vise versa. Other features include open fire, gas heating, spacious rear yard, separate bungalow with ensuite. Valetta is simply an idyllic beach house for 2 couples or a small family, within a stroll from the many delights of Lorne. Come see for yourself.

Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.
All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

Location and so much about this place was great, but it needs a really good clean and needs some love and thought out into it. The provisions are VERY basic (don't expect to be able to cook with any of the cookware provided) and there are cobwebs and spiders everywhere throughout the place. It just needs someone to give it some good love and attention. The location was so great, and was so wonderful to be able to take our dog away with us, and he loved this place.

Valetta is a beautiful house full of charm, a short walk away from Mountjoy Parade. The gardens are lovely and there are a few different areas to enjoy the outdoors. Our only criticism is that it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while. It might pay to get the cleaners to check crockery (the first 2 plates we picked up still had dried food on them) and do a thorough vacuum/mop of the floors. Otherwise, loved the view and the vibe!

The house was in a great position walking distance to town the oval to walk our dog and was presented nicely. Warm comfortable and welcoming
