To get together and make the most of it, head for the small Meuse village of Thillot, in the Lorraine Regional Natural Park, for a breath of fresh air: hiking trail, vineyards and orchards, historic sites, discovery of the farm and beaches are all around our vacation rental. Something to keep everyone occupied!

Our hosts greeted us very nicely and were responsive to our messages about our arrival time and our request for information about the municipal water issue that occurred on one of the days we were there. The house is much nicer in actuality than what you see in the photos, and so is the garden. It is an old stone house with thick walls, so it was colder in the first floor of the house than outside (upstairs is cozier). The area is very interesting, we enjoyed it. When we departed, we were able to find the area where there are municipal containers for glass, plastic and paper garbage, but we could not find the containers for regular garbage.

We spent one week with our two daughters here to visit the region. The house is very spacy and the garden is a big plus. Also mme Collot is very responsive and welcomed us with coockies and home made juice.
Keep in mind that the house has only one bedroom with a rather small bed for two persons and there are two seperate beds on the loft upstairs. Worked for us, but just to keep in mind. Also the dishwasher didn’t work for us, because it was broken.
All in all, great cottage to visit and explore the region.

Sfeervol en ruim huis waar je ook met gezin en 2 kinderen naartoe zou kunnen. We hebben een fijne tijd gehad. Wat wel een minpunt is is het veel te smalle bed. De vaatwasser was verder kapot tijdens ons verblijf. De gastvrouw is vriendelijk, maar praat vrijwel geen Engels. Dat is overigens geen probleem geweest.
