About this villa rental

Detached house of 150 m2 full of charm on a plot of 1300 m2 with swimming pool of 10x5 in a residential and very quiet area 2 km from the city center.
Its strong points are the calm and the different outdoor spaces to enjoy the sun and shade throughout the day around the 10x5 pool cradled by the song of the cicadas.
Vaison is 30 minutes on foot or 2 minutes by car and you will find there
Tourist office, municipal swimming pool, library, cinemas, fitness center, hospital, supermarkets, and all the services of a city of 6000 inhabitants .... small shops, crafts, Provencal market ...

This really a perfect place, quiet environment, clean, having all comfort you would wish, very nice owners, who live nearby. All you can wish for to have a pleasant vacation. The pool is great, outdoor kitchen, shower and toilet very handy. All in all indeed a ‘coupe de coeur’

This is absolutely the most perfect place to stay. The house is lovely and spacious with all you could wish for. The beds are great and the kitchen has everything you need. Outside there's the swimming pool, although a bit cold in spring, it's still wonderful to have one large enough to swim some laps. The garden has all kinds of different spaces to eat and relax, with wonderful views, such as the Mont Ventoux that can be seen from the garden. The neighbourhood is lovely and quiet, but at the same time it's near the town centre where you can find shops and restaurants. Vaison is a beautiful town, with lots of history. Further away there are so many interesting places to visit, you won't be bored.Finally, Nadia and Pierre are lovely hosts. They live next door and always available for help or advice. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your wonderful house!

This is definitely one of the best stays I had in Europe and the US! Beautiful roomy 4 bedroom house with fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill. Very nice pool in the backyard and lot's of terraces, shaded and sunny. And all this in a beautiful French region (Vaucluse en Drome Provencal) were one can bike, hike and enjoy local villages and its weekly markets. Will try to be back next year and see the nice owners again (Nadia et Pierre).

The moment you enter their beautiful villa it feels like home. We as a family with our parents and 2 girls aged 6 and 8 have more than enjoyed the Villa. The villa is very nicely maintained and well laid out and super clean. Nadia and Pierre are very welcoming and helpful. In summary, We will be back again!

The villa was clean, spacious, well equipped, had a lovely pool and was in a great location. The owners Nadia and Pierre who live next door to the villa were friendly and very helpful. The only downside of the holiday was that construction work on a nearby new property was taking place and work begun promptly at 7.00 am every week day morning!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Villa Pennard with my parents and children (age 7 and 5). The house is beautiful and finished/ furnished to a very high standard. The range of different seating areas to eat/ lounge was fantastic and well thought out. The swimming pool is one the most beautiful, clean and well maintained pools i've ever used. It was plenty big enough for all 6 of us at once. The location was wonderful. The surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful and a 20 minute pleasant walk into Vaison. The owners live next door and were lovely, even bringing us fresh tomatoes from their garden! I would certainly stay again as the house, pool and location were all perfect. In fact i wish i was back there now...

We were together with our 3 daughters, their partners and 1 child. The weather and surrounding of Romaine La Maison was fantastic. But our stay in the Villa Pennard was more than we expected. The interior was good quality, practical and very complete. Everything we needed was there. Nadia and Pierre, the owners, are very nice people and we had a good contact with them. We had an fantastic holiday in their villa and for a quiet family vacation we recommend their villa.

We just spent a fantastic week at "Villa Penard" in Vaison-La-Romaine, as a family of 6: 2 grand-parents (who used the bedroom and bathroom on the main floor), 2 parents and 2 kids (who used the 3 bedrooms and bathroom on the upper floor). We had a great time. Here is what we loved the most about the house: * The owners Pierre and Nadia are very friendly and helpful, and live next door. They truly did their best to help us have a great stay. For example, it was nice to wake up on the first day (after a late arrival the night before) to realize that there were some Nespresso coffee pods available, so that we could make some coffee prior to going grocery-shopping. One day Nadia brought us some fresh cherries they had just picked up in their yard. Another day we had some relatives come over for a "pool party", and Pierre came in the morning to check and inflate all the pool toys, and even brought us more so that the kids could have fun. * The house is immaculate and made of high-quality materials. * The neighborhood is very quiet: we slept with our windows open, and did not hear a thing except birds and crickets (and there were no mosquitoes to spoil the fun) * The pool is large, very clean, beautiful, and our kids loved the inflatable toys. * The covered patio is very nice - we ate all of our meals there in the shade, enjoying the fresh air. * The house is well-equipped, with all needed appliances (washing machine, dishwasher, coffee makers, microwave, outdoor electric "plancha"/grill etc...), linens, towels, lounge chairs etc.. * The house stayed cool even on hot days. * Vaison is only a couple of kilometers away (about 3 to 5 minutes by car) and has ample free parking - handy to pick up fresh bread and croissants at the bakery in the morning, or to go to the market on Tuesday and Satuday morning. * Lots of activities nearby, such as visiting Roman ruins in Vaison and Orange (impressive theater), visiting Provence villages like Seguret and Gigondas, hiking (or biking) in the "Dentelles de Montmirail" above Gigondas, wine tasting etc... If you saw the movie "A good year", the actual square and restaurant were scenes of the movies were shot are in Villedieu, about 5km away from the house. * Other activities, a little further away: doing a day trip to Avignon, visiting the amazing replica of the Chauvet cave (prehistoric cave paintings), canoeing down the Ardèche river etc... We highly recommend Pierre and Nadia's house, and hope to come back soon

Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour à la villa Pennard.Tout a été merveilleux en commençant par la maison spacieuse et bien agencée .Que dire de la piscine sinon qu'elle a fait le bonheur de tous.Le jardin était bien agréable et reposant.Nadia a tout prévu pour recevoir ses hôtes.Rien ne manque.On se sent comme chez soi.De plus ,Nadia et son mari sont très accueillants et très réactifs. Bref ,un séjour dont on se souviendra dans cette belle région et que je n'hésiterai pas à recommander.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cette magnifique demeure, idéalement située au cœur de la Provence. Les propriétaires sont très aimables. La maison est spacieuse, très bien équipée, avec une très belle piscine et une grande terrasse ombragée. Nous avons passé 2 semaines magnifiques à 7 avec nos trois grands ados et 2 de leurs amis. Nous recommandons sans réserve.

Tres belle résidence conforme au descriptif, juste je n'avais pas compris que la tv n'était connectée à la boxe. Venant avec 5 enfants de 6 à 15ans ce fût sur le coup une déception vite surmontée. Le cadre est magnifique et nous avons trouvé à l'entour des activités variées adaptées aux différents âges. Les propriétaires sont agréables et très réactifs merci à eux

Een prachtige vakantie gehad in villa penard. Het huis was tiptop in orde en een groot zwembad. Het zwembad is wel niet geschikt voor kinderen die niet kunnen zwemmen. Mooie ligging en niet te ver van winkels. Het was top! Geen last van de eigenaars.

Sehr gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage. Großer und sehr sauberer Pool. Im Ort sind unzählige Geschäfte für den täglichen Einkauf. Die Vermieter wohnen direkt nebenan und haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und waren bei Fragen immer direkt zur Stelle. Wenn es überhaupt etwas zu verbessern gäbe, dann vieleicht eine Klimaanalge, aber sonst uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

Nous avons passé une semaine avec deux couples d'amis dans cette belle villa tout confort. Propriétaires sympathiques. Équipement complet. Petit bémol : pas de lavabo dans la troisième sdb au rdc.

Cuisine bien équipée (il manque seulement un rangement pour déposer les courses qui ne vont pas dans les frigidaires). Literie correcte. Grand jardin pour où peuvent jouer les enfants (ils doivent être surveillés à tout instant en raison de la piscine au milieu du jardin).

Wir haben mit drei Erwachsenen und vier Jugendlichen zwischen 12 und 17 Jahren zwei sehr schöne Ferienwochen in diesem großzügigen Haus in ruhiger Lage am von Rand von Vaison-la-Romaine verbracht. Wir fanden das Haus sehr sauber und gepflegt vor und wurden freundlich von den nebenan wohnenden Eigentümern Nadia und Pierre empfangen. Der Kontakt war bei Fragen oder Problemen während des Aufenthaltes jederzeit möglich (danke nochmals an Pierre für den guten Tipp für eine Werkstatt zur Reparatur des durch eine Schraube defekten Reifens - er hat wunderbar auf der weiten Fahrt bis nach Norddeutschland gehalten!). Das Highlight dieses Anwesens ist mit Sicherheit die großzügige Terrasse mit dem riesigen, top gepflegten Traumpool - dass unseren Kindern keine Schwimmhäute gewachsen sind, ist erstaunlich, da sie jeden Tag stundenlang im Pool waren und diesen sichtlich genossen haben! Die Umgebung bietet eine Menge an Ausflugs- und Aktivitätsmöglichkeiten, von denen besonders das Colorado Provencal bei Rustrel, der schöne, jeden Dienstag in Vaison-la-Romaine stattfindende provenzalische Markt, die pittoresken Bergdörfer der Umgebung, die Vielzahl an Weingütern oder auch die schönen Städte Avignon oder Nîmes zu erwähnen sind. Herzlichen Dank noch einmal an Nadia und Pierre für diesen gelungenen Aufenthalt! Wir empfehlen dieses Haus gerne für zukünftige Urlauber weiter!

Super netter Empfang von Nadia+Pierre, tolles Haus, mit allem ausgestattet was man für unbeschwerte Ferien in der Provence braucht. Super Pool, sämtliche deutschen FS-Programme über Satellit, absolut ruhige Lage. Schöner Ort mit vielen guten Restaurant's.
