About this farm stay rental

For romantics: Old water mill located deep in the Marconne Valley. The house is steeped in the juice of yesteryear with its waterfall and a large bread oven in the living room. The former living room, with its large fireplace, serves chamber today. The house has a small extra bedroom, a nice bathroom and a kitchen. The path, paved, along the mill race that fed the wheel. Silence guaranteed! The paths go for walks in the forest and in the surrounding countryside. The mill is close to the Loire Valley and 35 km from the Loire Valley in Saumur. The vineyards are not far away! Home in English, German, Spanish.

Rural retreat.

A uniquely quirky and charming watermill oozing with rustic character. An idyllic and tranquil location ideally situated for exploring the immediate area and further afield. It was perfect for escaping the pressures of modern day life and provided an enjoyable first holiday with our young dog, we look forward to returning.

We had a wonderful few days here. The watermill is in the grounds of a beautiful privately owned chateau who's owners made us feel very welcome. The mill has a wonderful sense of isolation and escape from the pace and bustle of the outside world. We loved the simplicity and back to basics nature of the place. We'd recommend this to anyone who is seeking some peace and quiet and wants to get away from it all for a while. There is something v special about this place with its open fires and huge lofty rooms with the stream running alongside. Hope to return!

Le moulin est un endroit très reposant, entouré de verdure où l'on entend les oiseaux, le bruissement des arbres et l'eau du ruisseau couler. Le jardin est un havre de paix entouré par la forêt ... Pour ce qui est de l'intérieur, il est resté dans son jus, rustique donc mais on y trouve la joie de pouvoir contempler de magnifiques feux de cheminée coupé du monde. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour et nous espérons pouvoir vite revenir. Nous remercions également Monsieur De Bresson pour son accueil chaleureux et sa disponibilité !!

The mill is situated in a luscious, green area on the land of a castle just outside of Le Lude, Sarthe. It has enough space inside to live well and be creative. The mill and it's environment are inspiring. We have made a fire every evening and watched the flames in stead of TV. Read lots of books, papers and magazines. Relaxing in the comfortable bathtub and cooking or meal with local products of markets and farmers. It was like living our dream. We will come back for sure. We still think of living like this every day.

Nous avons passé un séjour des plus reposant dans ce moulin pendant ce mois de juillet. Le cadre est magnifique et le confort du moulin à été pour nous très correct. L accueil et la disponibilité des propriétaires est sans faille. Je le recommande aux amoureux de la nature, aux personnes cherchant un endroit calme et isolé ou encore à toutes personnes comme nous à la recherche d'endroits magiques pour passer ses vacances, n hésitez pas.
