About this house rental
Sandford of Venus bay, is 15min drive from Inverloch. Close to Jetty (0.5km) and Surf beach 5 (1.5km) this holiday home is ideal for the weekend or weekly getaway. With a large deck and woodfire oven it is perfect for summer or winter. The garden is a delight in itself, secludes you from the surrounding homes. Contains 2 Bedrooms one with queen bed and one with one double and one single bed, this cottage is ideal for 4-5 people. The private yard has an open fire pit area, as well as access to a wood fired oven to cook up any number of yummy treats. Sandford is the perfect retreat.

Enjoy the surf, river or inlet where you can fish, kayak, go boating or just enjoy the scenery. Plenty of bushwalks with abundant wildlife. A lovely little coastal village complete with restaurant, fish and chip shop, pizza shop, licensed Grocer, fishing shop and the latest addition - a yummy ice cream shop.

Comfortable stay with the basics. Nice private garden and deck with lots of afternoon sun. Day trips to beautiful Sandy Point beach, good for small kids along with number 1 beach at Venus Bay. Shack Bay towards Cape Paterson a good rock pool exploring spot. Inverloch 20 to 25 min drive.. Short drive to Tarwin Lower for more river fishing platforms and pub meals. Wonthaggi good for shopping if you're in that area, 8 mins from Cape Paterson. We found other more local supermarkets very over priced.
Overall a good stay. Could use a few updates, such as the compendium.
