Recently renovated, this former 13th century building is situated at the end of the hamlet of Retournay, inhabited by the 2 owners. The gîte is situated on the border between the Vienne and Deux-Sèvres departments, in the centre of the 4 main regional attractions: the Futuroscope, the Chateaux de la Loire, the Marais Poitevin and the Puy du Fou.
A 1st category river, the Dive, crosses the property between the poplar trees. The villa at Licoches benefits from the charm of the location and the architecture of the small listed 16th century manor house. It is accessible from various urban centres: Poitiers-Paris by TGV (1h30). Poitiers is a 30-minute drive away, while La Rochelle and Nantes are 1.5 hours away.
Total floor area of 165 m² spread over 2 floors.
On the ground floor, the entrance hall, the main room of 65m2, with its kitchen area (dishwasher, cooker and extractor fan, fridge-freezer), has a large fireplace, stone tiles and underfloor heating, a bathroom with linen and a separate toilet.

What a great place to stay ! Perfect for us and our friends, we had two excellent weeks in the company of Hilaire and Genevieve at La Villa Des Licoches who made our stay very special. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again in future years.

Das Ferienhaus liegt ganz am Anfang des Gebäudekomplexes.
Sie zeichnet sich durch Größe und schönen Materialien aus.
Obwohl wir zu Beginn Bedenken hatten wie wir uns versorgen könnten verflogen diese schnell als wir in Airvault alles Wichtige fanden. Für mich sind das Boulangerie/Patisserie, Hypermarche und Boucher sowie einen lokalen Markt.
Obwohl das Ferienhaus landschaftlich sehr schön lag (an einem kleinen Fluss) war die Internet Verbindung zufriedenstellend.
Die Vermieter waren sehr hilfsbereit.
Wir können diese Location ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen.

Une ancienne dépendance restaurée magnifiquement. Il s'agit vraiment d'un gite avec un confort d'hôtel 5 étoiles. Pour les amoureux de nature, de plantes, de potager, de petites balades en bords de rivières ce gite vous plaira à coup sur. Les enfants avaient un espace à perte de vue pour jouer et si cela ne suffisait pas à 3km se trouve un lac avec une plage et pleins d activités pour petits et grands.
Pour ceux qui aiment le tourisme paisible et doux c'est une excellente destination.
Les propriétaires sont autant gentils que discrets.

Fantastique semaine passée dans ce magnifique logement. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et partagent sans compter tous les secrets et les bons plans des environs.
