The farmhouse is unique and breathtaking
This is merely an honest opinion. It has no reflection on the property over all. As the actual farmhouse itself was breathtaking !! These are little pointers….Air con was expensive approx €1.50 an hour if all bedrooms needed to be used due to high temperatures so we could only use it for sleeping between 10-6am so this needs to be taken into consideration when booking the length of time you stay, and due to this in high temperatures the property would be somewhat muggy in the day as the cost to run whilst using in the day time would have doubled the price to €22-25 a day. So we would just go out and explore using the savings to pay towards excursions.
More modern linen in the bedrooms would have made sleeping more luxurious as the bedding is very low grade, and rough and itchy. In today’s rental market a very lightweight summer duvet with flat sheet just adds to the sleeping comfort, and some soft pillows for people that do not get on with hard brick pillows as causes back and neck discomfort (again these are minor issues that can be addressed. Quite noisy when there are neighboring renters in the villa adjoining the farmhouse especially if they have lively young children. Room in lower quarters by main door and the second smaller rooms are a tad musky and feel damp, but for such an old property and the thickness of the walls is pretty much unavoidable. Over all the farmhouse is super impressive, but the upper floor rooms would have been more comfortable for people as they are light and welcoming. Felt a little like being in a medieval setting in the bedrooms and a museum. But over all a weird but interesting experience. A Bit like sleeping in Hever Castle in England, half expecting a previous guest from the 1600-1700’s to make their presence known.
Can’t fault the owners, top notch.
If you want to stay somewhere, that’s more of an experience that’s memorable. This is the place for you and your family.

A gorgeous property, full of charm and original features. Very well equipped. Gorgeous pool area with plenty of space. Beautiful, spacious rooms. The hosts are also very kind and accommodating. We'll definitely be back!
