Maison accueillante, équipée et rustique avec un charme d'antan. Adaptée aux grands et aux petits (lit pour bébé, jeux pour les grands...). Beau jardin avec une zone pour les locataires, les enfants pouvaient entrer et sortir à leur guise, ils étaient très heureux. Tout le monde était content.

Perfect stay, from the very welcome arrival from the lovely host Beatrice, Gite de la Forge offered a spacious, comfortable home in a small little country town. Two toilets, comfy beds, equipped kitchen and a washing machine made it practical, bbq and outdoor setting sitting in the sun overlooking the garden made it so enjoyable. We loved our stay - thank you Pierre and Beatrice!😊

The host was very polite and kind. The check-in process was smooth, and the communication was good.
The house is very old and doesn’t feel cozy or comfortable. There is no real internet – the Wi-Fi network exists, but it doesn’t work at all, and there is no mobile reception either. That was a major disappointment. Also, the house is very damp and cold, even in the summer. This kind of humidity might be common in rural France, but it’s quite unusual and uncomfortable for people used to Scandinavian standards of indoor warmth.
