Lovely . Comfortable .

The hostes Diane and chris were just a lovely couple very helpful and nothing was to much trouble diane greeted us with warmth and straight away made us feel like we were part of the family .. it was home from home . The Ivy Cottage was comfortable .very clean. The room we had was very good comfortable and the bed was really comfy too. The bathroom was just next door to the room and it spacious . All in all a really lovely place to stay .

A very pleasant start to our week away!

A lovely quirky cottage ran by the best hosts ever! It was a perfect start to our trip to Glastonbury festival which we went to the following day. Rooms were very comfortable and it was nice to have Diane spend time with us and make us feel so welcome.

Great homely B&B with fantastic breakfast

Made to feel at home with free use of kitchen. Continental breakfast was exceptional with range of juices, cereals, fresh fruit salad, honey flavoured yoghurt, topped off with tea, coffee, and sourdough toast.

Everything was beautifully clean,cosy and well equipped with everything we needed.location was peaceful and perfect for relaxing,warm welcoming atmosphere from Diana and Chris and also nice breakfast every day I had it in my work office.

Brilliant get away went home feeling rested and content

I can’t honestly say there was nothing I disliked about the property we had such a lovely time and was sad to leave… even though there was no tv in our room the owners let us watch Netflix on there iPad… we defo will be coming back!! … and the hot tub at night time was definitely worth the extra £10.. the hosts made us feel at home and where lovely to talk to

The host is as friendly as they get. This venue is like a home away from home unlike a generic hotel chain.

For the sake of filling in this box, be aware of the cats if you are allergic? I'm not and the cats are majestic!

I had an excellent stay and slept well.

Location was absolutely perfect for my needs. Breakfast was excellent too - lovely fruit salads, coffee and cereals. I enjoyed meeting the hosts and chatting with them. And meeting their gorgeous cats ! The bed was comfortable and I slept well. I enjoyed the hot tub too! I would definitely stay there again - except they're moving.

No en suite, and shared bathroom at other end of corridor (I didn't encounter the other guest though) I have to get up for the wc in the middle of the night, and hate disturbing others. The parking was very tight but I managed it !

Comfortable and friendly, and oh so quiet....

Breakfast is a veritable banquet - no cooked breakfast, but more than made up for by selection of cereals, and fresh fruit salad, yoghurts and toast with local and homemade preserves. Breakfast is served to your schedule,

I'm not even sure you could do anything to make it 'better' without compromising the property... it is what it is - a true country cottage guest house. Friendly and helpful owners, that make you feel so welcome, you wonder if you're really just a 'guest' and not a member of the household.

Lovely owners , nothing too much trouble, no cooked breakfast so if that's what you want best you go out for that , got but lovely food , fresh bread 😋..quiet area. .Good sleep . Definitely be back again .🤗

This is the best accommodation I've ever stayed at during my travels!

This house is extremely beautiful, cozy, and clean! The owners are very warm and friendly, and the breakfast is delicious. We even saw an incredibly beautiful starry sky in the yard!!

This is a lovely, cosy property. It is spotlessly clean with really comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen and lounge/dining room. The breakfast is delicious and nothing is too much trouble for the hosts, Diana and Chris.

A charming home away from home

We stayed as a group on our way to Glastonbury. The location was perfect, as were the hosts who made us feel right at home and showed us where everything was in the kitchen for the morning and how to work the shower etc. We all agreed our beds were so comfortable! We’ll definitely be looking to stay again for longer than a night!

Ticked every box!

We were spending the night before going to Glastonbury festival. Perfect place to stay. Chris and Di were so friendly and made us feel welcome immediately. The cottage is a gem and so are the owners. They booked a table for us at the local pub and we had a wonderful meal there. Peaceful night’s sleep and an excellent continental breakfast set us up for the day. Thank you both for a wonderful stay and good luck to you for the future.

Really pleasant stay in an exceptional B&B in what is a lovely village.

Diana and Chris made us very welcome, as did their two cats: peanut and Fergel. The bedrooms are cozy, the power shower is worthy of its name, and there was an excellent selection of homemade jams for breakfast. There is also a lovely "hare" theme throughout the house.

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, lovely coffee. Perfect location for my trip. Very friendly hosts and it felt very homely too.

Maybe the parking is a bit tight but fine for my car.

A very comfortable night's stop in a lovely cottage with a nice friendly hostess.

Lovely cottage in a quiet village, ideal for visiting the Somerset Levels (although we were there for a meeting nearby). Very friendly hostess who recommended eating places and enjoyed chatting. Great breakfast with homemade preserves and super fresh fruit salad. Streaming services all provided on TV.

WiFi dropped a couple of times, but then we were down a lane in a remote village, in a cottage with very thick walls
