About this house rental

The barn is ideally situated in open countryside, yet charming village pubs are in abundance locally, with three within the parish. Enjoy walks directly from your doorstep or explore the Somerset Levels and the Quantock Hills which provide easy access to a vast choice of walks, cycle routes, fishing, and birdwatching. Weston-Super-Mare (16 miles) and Burnham-on-Sea (10 miles) are worth a visit with their golden sandy beaches, seaside shops, family entertainment and restaurants. Other attractions include Clarks Shopping Village (8 miles), Wookey Hole (14 miles), Glastonbury Tor (10 miles), and the beautiful cities of Wells (15 miles) and Bath (33 miles). Bridgewater carnival in November is located only 15 minutes away which the jubilee cart will be presented and makes their way around the towns in the South West, It is the biggest carnival in the UK.

You are welcomed into the delightful single-storey accommodation through the front door and into the hall. From here, head into the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with apex ceilings, exposed beams, bespoke lighting and French doors opening into the enclosed garden, a perfect place for a quiet, or romantic break away. Settle in for a snug evening with a feast, a bottle of wine and a film on the Smart TV. The perfectly equipped kitchen has an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine - it is a great space for cooking lazy breakfasts or trying out new recipes. Completing the accommodation is a king-size bedroom. The bathroom can be found opposite the bedroom with a bath, separate shower and WC.

Outside there is an enclosed courtyard garden, great for both you and your dog to relax in. Guests will find a table and chairs, and a charcoal BBQ. You will be very welcome to visit the farm and help feed the chickens, collect the eggs, meet the owners’ pets and see the animals in the pets’ corner. Lambing season takes place from March to the end of April, so in the spring, you can also help feed the lambs. There is ample off-road parking available.
