Detached house from 1830 fully restored near the owners' house with private pool open from April 1 to September 30. Heated from May 15 at 24 degrees and from June 1 to September 15 at 28 degrees and 24 degrees from 15 until September 30.! large wooded, fenced and flowered park of 7000 m 2.

This is a superb Gite which provided all the essentials to relax and enjoy our visit; including an extensive arrivals package. Both the Gite and garden are beautiful. The pool was large with extensive seating. The house was very comfortable and included air-conditioning in the bedrooms. Located just south of Bergerac town and the Dordogne it is ideally located to explore Saint-Emilion, Eymet, Issigeac, Monpazier, Molieres and beyond. Serge and Beatrice were excellent hosts and went out of their way to be helpful: Many thanks for a great week

The gite was simply wonderful. From the moment we arrived Serge and Beatrice made us so welcome. Everything we could need was thought of and the gite was immaculate - the pool area in particular felt like a slice of paradise. We explored the local area, sampled food and wine from the markets and restaurants - the area, from the vineyards to the beautiful villages, is just stunning and the gite a perfect place from which to explore. A wonderful holiday was had by the whole family. Thank you Serge and Beatrice!

Gite Salagre is situated in vineyards in the wine growing around surrounding Bergerac. The hosts Serge and Beatrice are exceptional in their customer service from initial arrival to departure. Fresh produce from the garden and a delicious home made tart set the tone for a wonderful stay. The gite is set in the Dordogne and served by a local airport. There are numerous places of both historical interest and natural beauty both on the doorstep and within easy driving distance.After a days sightseeing it was great to come back to the swimming pool which was there for our exclusive use. All the pictures accurately reflected what we found.
