Masseria Pepenofio is a luxurious country home, also referred to as “Masseria”, immersed in the countryside of Monopoli. Restructured, embellished, and transformed in a holiday home with two salty watered pools.
The Masseria is subdivided in two floors: the ground floor is composed of four independent apartments, all available on this website, while on the first floor we have a fifth apartment, for exclusive use of the owners, whom stay here just a few weeks a year.
The four apartments recall the colors of the earth and are embellished by beautiful rustic furniture. All four apartments are equipped with fully furnished kitchens and with ample and comfortable bathrooms, each one of them evoking the Apulian vegetation through their naming.
Peperoncino is the loft of the Masseria: a precious jewel made out of one unique ambience, finely restructured and refurnished, that may welcome two guests. The kitchen, fully equipped and enriched by porcelain details, designed around the antique fireplace, who originally used as a place where they cooked meals. The bathroom is ample and very comfortable. From the interior it is possible to get direct access to the terrace on the back of the apartment. Moving on, we find a large pool, shared with all four apartments (salt water filtering system – without any additional chemicals).
The Masseria has three other apartments on top of Peperoncino, namely Roseto, Melograno and Fico D'India, the last apartments includes a private pool.

The Masseria complex is immersed in a unique environment, enriched by the nature all around, embellished by the centennial Olive trees, perfumed by the scents of the citrus trees, and by the various and typical colors of the Mediterranean: from the green colors of the vegetation, the candid white coloring of lime stone, to the shadings of stones tinted by colorful flowers. Arising in a choreographic position on a hill, allowing guests to enjoy breathtaking views reaching the clear waters of the sea.
Masseria Pepenofio offers a 5-star service: great quality bed-linen, prestigious dish service, and various other facilities including laundry service. This Masseria is a place of absolute charm, ideal for guests whom would love to concede themselves a little bit of luxury, once in a while. Romantic, peaceful, setting amongst olive trees with rose gardens all within a 10 minute drive to the hustle and bustle of the historic town on the sea of Monopoli. Angela is an amazing hostess, we had everything we needed. A place to curl up on your lounge next to the pool with a good book, take an afternoon nap and then go for a romantic walk in the country. I would say although there is a pool, it is not for children. Our last few days were not as enjoyable as there were two children with no parent supervision who monopolized the pool and were very loud. This was our "rest and re-charge" part of our trip before heading back to Rome for the last few days. You will not be disappointed if you are seeking serenity, nature and romance. Cook your own meal or head into town to stroll the marina and stop at any of the place serving up fresh and delicious meals. Then enjoy your dessert watching the boats come and go. 5 stars in our book! Thank you Angela!

We had a lovely stay at the apartment, surrounded by beautiful countryside, a very pretty garden and a pool. Everything was super CLEAN and spacious, just like the photos. The bed was solid and comfortable. It was quiet and dark at night so we had really good night sleeps, especially after a long day out and about. Angela was a super nice host and attentive to your needs. She took care of everything very well. A place to remember! Thank you!

Everything was great, the host was very helpful. Location is little bit difficult to find but that was expected :) apartment, garden and pool are amazing. The kitchen equipment could have been cleaner otherwise no issues at all.
