The house is very welcoming with amenities such as a pool, jacuzzi, outdoor lounge, cinema area, and garden - perfect for relaxing. We had a great vacation just a short bike ride from the center of Saint-Georges, the ocean, and bike paths. Long live the island of Oléron!

We had a wonderful time at this house. The pool was fantastic and there was lots of space for all 10 of us. Eric was a very good host - gave us a very in-depth tour of the house despite the language barrier and had some great recommendations for things to do and places to eat.
A few rooms could do with being updated but it was super clean and perfect for our needs. It’s also well located, just a short walk from St George’s Square and only 5 minute drive from the beach.
There were a couple issues but they didn’t impact our stay too much. It’s apparently common in France to take your own towels and bedding, which we weren’t made aware of so make sure you take these with you. It’s also common to bring a cheque for a deposit, which again, we weren’t aware of (I think this was due to the way VRBO is set up rather than miscommunication) but Eric was very understanding.
We’d definitely stay again.

Le propriétaire très accueillant et sympathique nous a bien accueilli, ses anecdotes sont truculentes !
Cette maison est très conviviale et tout le monde a trouvé son bonheur, piscine, jacuzzi, salon extérieur, coin cinéma et jardin ... parfait pour se relaxer. Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances à quelques coups de pédales du centre de Saint-Georges, de l'océan et des pistes cyclables.
Vive l'île d'Oléron !
