We had a delightfully relaxing 8 nights at this beautifully quirky chalet, Julie and her husband waited until nearly midnight to welcome us to their chalet as we had problems with our flight and ended up 12 hours later than expected. The chalet was lovely and clean and set in an idyllic location with only one house in the vicinity, the owners were charming. The views the first morning were breathtaking as it was dark when we arrived so had no idea what to expect. It snowed the first day to the delight of our 3 grandchildren who spent the morning bombing up and down the slope beside the chalet on their bumboards!! We had five days of perfect skiing at the nearby ski resort of Valberg, which was about a 30 minute drive and was one of the best ski resorts we have visited accommodating all levels of skiers. Unfortunately the local ski station at Roubion was not open due to a severe lack of snow this year. We ate both in at the Chalet and out and can highly recommend Chez Joelle in Roubion village who opened her restaurant especially for us. Also Le Sapin Blanc at Les Launes where there is a very reasonable set menu and the most amazing fondues! The Chalet’s one bathroom proved fun with 8 of us staying but we soon got a good rota system up and running and fortunately there was a second loo downstairs. We will definitely be booking Julie’s chalet again very soon.

Julie and Jean-Claude were fantastic hosts, very communicative and even provided a lift into town at the end of our stay to catch a bus. The property is brilliantly situated, with three great circular walks that take you through Roubion (two great places to eat) and back to the property. A great place to stay.

Nous avons séjourné à 5 adultes et 2 ados pour un WE ski à valberg. Le chalet et conforme à la description, suffisamment spacieux, en très bon état et très bien équipé. L’insert bois fonctionne parfaitement, nous nous sommes arrangés avec les propriétaires pour les horaires sans problème.

We had a warm welcome, communication with the owners was great. Exactly on time or coming and leaving. The house is in a quiet surroundings, very pleasant! Paths for hiking nearby. The wifi is great on the whole, very sometimes it had a hickup. Everything we needed was there. Beds okay, matrasses a bit sagged. Some places in the kitchen were a sticky/dirty, in particular the top shelves etc. Other cons: no shower, only possibility is to sit in the bath and use a handshower. And no dishwasher too. The garden was great, so was the balcony, views, parking place near the house, lots of space for two of us, cosy chairs, good LCD, fireplace. Thanks to the owners. We had a very pleasant two weeks!

Propriétaires très sympathiques. Le chalet est très bien agencé, très bien équipé et les literies sont très confortables. Un intérieur très cocooning et une terrasse plein sud pour profiter du soleil. Situé au calme, entouré de champs enneigés idéal pour des parties de luge, à 5 min de la station de ski de Roubion et à 20 min de la station de Valberg. Endroit idéal pour passer de superbes vacances en famille, des grands-parents aux petits enfants.

Bonjour les futurs vacanciers, Malgré la cadre fantastique et les paysages enneigés, nous avons eu une mauvaise expérience avec les propriétaires. Nous avons demandé la permission d'utiliser le BBQ de l'extérieur, au début Julie nous a dit oui et en partant ils ont fait un scandale ! Peut-être étions-nous obligés de leur préparer à manger à eux aussi? Impossible de prendre une douche correctement car elle est endommagé et surtout pour 2 enfants et une femme enceinte c'est très compliqué ! Nous avons loué la maison en sa totalité- ils nous ont reproché que nous avons eu des visites des amis que nous nous sommes fait pendant notre séjour( à savoir on est resté 7 jours!). Pendant le séjour le voisin s'est montré soit disant sympathique mais quand on est parti il a raconté n'importe quoi sur nous - alors on a été espionné?! Mais le plus choquant qui est resté de toutes les stupidités que le propriétaires s'est permi de dire à mon mari en partant et en refusant de rendre le chèque de caution est : "Vous étiez plus de 4(le chalet a 8 couchages) et maintenant à cause de vous je dois changer les draps !" C'est juste scandaleux !!! Cela veut dire qu'ils ont jamais été changes?! Peut-être c'est pour ça que mon corps a été couvert de plaques et que mon gynécologue me tue de tous sortes d'examen pour savoir ce que j'ai ?! Heureusement que nous avons ramené nos serviettes ! Je vous jure! Très mauvaise foie de leur part et très violent en face de mon mari! Bilan, nous avons bien profité de la neige mais resté avec un très mauvais souvenir de la maison. Je recommande l'endroit mais pas ce chalet! Désolé mais de se faire espionné et repartir avec des plaques ce n'est pas très agréable pour passer des vacances...

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au calme et au frais dans le chalet. Il est très bien équipé et confortable. De belles balades VTT faciles aux alentours, farniente dans le jardin, baignade dans le Cians... tout était parfait ! En revanche il faut penser à venir avec ses provisions car peu d’épiceries alentours 😀

Nous sommes venus passer 5 jours et avons apprécié l'accueil des propriétaires, la propreté de la maison, son calme et la possibilité de randonner tout près. La maison est agréable, bien équipée, le jardin était bienvenu pour nos enfants qui y ont joué en fin de journée, la situation géographique nous a permis de rayonner entre St Sauveur en Tinée et Valberg. Bonne adresse :) !!

Mon appréciation Lieu de calme et de sérénité ou on peut voir de nombreux animaux en liberté .Le chalet est vraiment très agréable, spacieux et bien équipé. De nombreuses randonnées et les stations de Roubion et Valberg sont très plaisantes. Télésiéges de la station de Roubion ouverts en été pour monter découvrir la montagne ou faire du VTT en partant du sommet. Très bon accueuil des propriétaires.
