About this house rental
Comfortable 100m² old house in a small, very quiet hamlet of 8 houses in the Monts d'Ambazac.
Nature - Solar-heated organic swimming pool - Easy walks for young children right outside the hamlet - Lakes, ponds, rivers and forests... This corner of the countryside is relaxing, but there are also lots of activities available nearby.
The house
Living room with wood-burning stove - Fully equipped kitchen - Bathroom with walk-in shower - Stone walls, beams and country-style furniture - Fibre WiFi - HD TV.
Upstairs: 3 bedrooms with old wooden floors.
Bedroom 1 - 160 cm bed
Bedroom 2 - 2 90 cm beds
Bedroom 3 - 140 cm bed in an alcove.
Please note: Bedrooms 1 and 3 are independent, bedroom 2 is a passageway to bedroom 3 (original architecture of this old house).
Private south-facing garden, not overlooked, with wooden terrace and pergola shaded by reed fencing - Garden furniture - Barbecue - Unobstructed view of the rolling countryside.
The garden is located 5 m from the house, accessible via the hamlet path (very little traffic).
Bicycles available - Shaded parking.
Solar-heated organic swimming pool (10 m × 6 m) shared with the owners for independent use.
UV-sterilised water. No chemicals, the water does not sting the eyes.
Access to the water via three steps - Maximum depth 1.90 m.
Heated by solar shutters, it retains heat well due to its insulated concrete structure.
May: 25–27°C - June-July-August: 28–30°C.
Solar shower. Daily cleaning of the swimming pool.
Available from May to mid-October.
The cottage and its garden are reserved exclusively for holidaymakers. There are no other cottages on the property.
We live 25 metres away and are available if you need anything. In the house, you will find information on walks, visits and the many activities available nearby.
Lake Saint-Pardoux, Limoges, Saint Léonard de Noblat (Le moulin du Got) are 30 minutes away. For those who enjoy cycling, the ‘Sigletrack La Jonchère’ is in the village.
Shops in the village (3 km), supermarkets 10 minutes away, local farmers' markets nearby.

Lovely holiday in the quiet, rural, Haute-Vienne. Easy drive to Limoges & close to arboretum, (well worth the walk). Alain was a very friendly host with lots of good information about the area. House full of character and also all the amenities we needed for a wonderful stay.

Maison de campagne très agréable.Rien ne manque dans la location.Le propriétaire est très avenant,toujours prêt à nous informer sur les activités à faire aux alentours et très gentil avec les enfants.
Nous avons passé un bon séjour.Les enfant étaient ravis de retrouver la piscine très bien entretenue après les promenades.

De woning was prima, beetje Spartaans misschien. Hoewel prima keuken en uitstekende badkamer. Maar de landelijke rust, de vogels, de hagedisjes bij de voordeur, en de duizenden sterren. Want als het donker is, is het echt donker. Er is nauwelijks tot geen kunstlicht in de omgeving. Louterend.

Excellent we de Pâques passé dans cette maison ancienne. Le hameau est très calme, les habitants chaleureux et Alain est de très bon conseil et a été très à l'écoute de nos envies (petite flambée le 1er soir). En 3 jours nous avons pu faire de belles balades (classeur et dépliants dans le gite pour nous aider) , manger dans un très bon restau (conseillé par Alain) et profiter du soleil devant la maison. Il faudra revenir pour continuer les balades, profiter de la piscine et du jardin, et découvrir les produits locaux des producteurs alentours.
