Everyone says it lives up to its name :).
It's located in Nangeville, a small village 70 km from Paris. It's an old stone house, renovated, bright, warm, and full of charm, with a large, sunny garden.
With its 6 bedrooms, it's perfect for groups of 10 to 15 people.

Our family home offers:

.15 beds (or 11 to 14 single beds if 1 person per bed)

.1 dining room with a large table for everyone

.Bed linen and towels can be rented if you don't want to bring your own

One bedroom is on the ground floor, the others are upstairs. There is also a bathroom and a toilet on the ground floor (ideal for people with mobility issues).
Bedroom 1: 3 single beds (or 1 double bed + 1 single bed)
Bedroom 2: 2 single beds
Bedroom 3: 1 double bed
Bedroom 4: 2 double beds (a curtain separates the two beds)
Bedroom 5: 2 single beds or 1 double bed
Ground floor bedroom: 1 double bed
On-site amenities include:

A lovely fireplace for winter

A stereo system

Note: The house is not rented for dance parties or to accommodate more people than its sleeping capacity (therefore, no weddings).

18 of us stayed in this lovely house for a week. We loved having the large garden, especially the outdoor games on offer. The house itself was really nice with a good size lounge, well appointed kitchen and separate dining room. The local village is very quiet and the nearest town has a great bakery and a few supermarkets. If you're visiting the area to boulder, there's one spot only a ten minute drive away (Buthiers Piscine) and many more great options within easy driving distance.
The only thing I'd advise is going with a slightly smaller group, 15 max. It's really only big enough for that many as there's not quite enough spaces around the dining table nor seats in the lounge to fit 18 and three people have to sleep on mattresses on the floor. Also, 3 bathrooms between 18 is a stretch.
Communicating with the owner was very easy, they were really helpful and responsive. We would happily stay here again, with a slightly smaller group!

It was like taking you back into time. Very cute cottage with lots of room for a large family. Quiet and peaceful, grocery store is about a 10 minute drive in the next closest town.

We travelled with 4 families for a few days and had a fantastic time at the residence. It has lots of space, specially for the kids, and is equipped with everything you might need. We would love to come back soon!
