We chose well! It was our honeymoon and we could not have chosen better! Odile is such a lovely lady. She met us after our three day trip from Kent, UK, with a lovely big smile. We were shown around the beautiful house and we understood each other well. The villa is beautifully decorated with lots of tasteful and almost personal items/ornaments scattered about. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you would ever need - even large wine glasses! The bed was very comfortable - we stayed in the downstairs bedroom which, even when it was hot, remained cool. We travelled around the local area, there is so much to see. Gordes is an amazing perched village with some fab shops/boutiques and incredible photo opps. We also visited Chateau Neuf du Pape, not so pretty but the wine is magical! We visited The Abbaye de Senanque which, as planned, we saw in July at Lavender time. What a sight! Ménerbes is lovely and it happened to be market day which was a bonus, and easy parking! We left the market with a much lighter wallet! Apt has a nice shopping area. Roussillon is a must! Goult is lovely. Lacoste and the Marquis de Safe’s castle, again beautiful views. Pont Julien is worth a quick visit too. Sault is also worth a trip. The Super U at Coustellet is a great supermarket with a fuel area too. We got all we needed in there. Only 10 mins drive away. What more can we say! You’d be daft to miss out on this fabulous villa! Superbe!

Thank you Marie-Odile for letting us spend a wonderfully happy month in your house. Everything we needed - and more - was provided. The beds were really comfortable, as was all the furniture, inside and out. Marie-Odile was always available if needed, and so very kind. The six of us had barbecues in the very pretty garden, and lazed around in the sun in the many seating areas. The location is very central for reaching those charming Plus Beaux Villages de France - notably Roussillon, Bonnieux, Menerbes, Lacoste, Lourmarin... and we loved visiting L’Isle sur la Sorgue, Fontaine de Vaucluse and the tiny but gorgeous Venasque with its bars, pottery, church... and the delightful Les Remparts restaurant where we sat on the upstairs terrace. It rained for a few days, but in all honesty, that didn’t spoil our holiday. The Luberon scenery is nothing short of beautiful, just heaven on earth.

This was one of the better-equipped and maintained houses we have rented. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking gear, well beyond what we needed for a short stay. The house is charmingly decorated - it feels like a real home rather than a generically-furnished rental. Given the so-so weather, we didn’t use the pool but did enjoy sitting in the yard a couple early evenings.Location is central for the Luberon as well as the Southern Rhône wine towns. The house is on a fairly busy road but traffic noise did not bother. There are a lot of walking trails easily accessible. I will note that although the listing said English was one of the languages spoken, this turned out to not be the case. We got by ok with phone translation when the caretaker showed us around, but it did make everything a little more difficult. Not a complaint, as we were the ones out of step with the language of the country, but as a comment for other French-challenged renters. I also might suggest that the house provide a page or two of written instructions as a leave-behind, as we particularly struggled with how to operate a couple of the older appliances (e.g. oven). Overall, we were very pleased with the location, spaciousness and comfort of the house and would consider renting it again if we come back to the area.

We were 2 families with 3 kids between us and we really enjoyed the house. It had plenty of room, the house was clean and comfortable, and the pool area was great. Mrs Rivaud was super helpful when our friends needed help tracking down lost luggage and was always very quick to reply with emails. Gordes is an amazing little gem... and a great place to jet off from to see other villages. Wish we'd booked 2 weeks! Next time we will.

We loved this villa so much we came back for the second year in a row. Very comfortable, clean. It is in a great location for traveling around Provence. It is in a quiet area, gated. It is stocked with everything you need to cook and has some toys and games if you have kids. It has a nice washer and dryer. I would recommend to my friends and family.

A perfect spot to stay for our five days in Provence, very central to the region and only a couple of minutes drive to beautiful Gordes. The house is gorgeous and has everything you could need, linen, soap, hairdryer, full kitchen with all utensils etc. We loved our stay, merci beaucoup Marie-Odile!

We had 6 nights at the house with our 12yr old son and his friend. Marie-Odile is a gracious host and nothing was too much trouble. She provided a large amount of information on the markets, restaurants and activities in the area which helped us plan out our time. The house and garden are beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you could need during your stay. The pool is not large but more than enough to cool down on the very hot Provence days. The location is excellent close to Gordes and other equally picturesque villages. We all had an excellent time and will be back - Highly Recommended.

We stayed in this Villa for 9 nights. It was perfect for our family of 5. The location is wonderful as a home base for many Provence villages. The villa is well stocked. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook and we enjoyed dinner on the terrace many nights. It is immaculate on the inside and out. My daughters enjoyed the pool and playing in the yard. There are games, books, movies, travel information. Beds were very comfortable. Marie was the perfect host. We loved Provence and can't wait to come back and would stay here again.

This house offered everything we were looking for and more... Perfect location a few kilometers outside Gordes and very central to all the wonderful villages we wanted to see. All the facilities, equipment and accommodation we wanted - pool, BBQ, terrace, lounge, dining, lovely kitchen, beautiful bedrooms, authentic stone and timber beam construction, good security, parking, etc. The welcome was excellent and information provided was extensive. The person showing us around was lovely and made every effort to communicate across a language barrier. Indoor/outdoor living was excellent. Lots of electronic equipment, tv's, games, cd's, books, magazines, etc. available. I highly recommend a stay here - you will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful time in this gorgeous home away from home. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything that one would need for a perfect holiday. The kitchen is well equipped for the casual or more adventurous chef. We had lovely breakfasts outside on the patio every day, and relaxing happy hours by the pool in the evening. It is well located, quiet, safe and in one of the most beautiful parts of France. It is close to many of the most beautiful villages in France. You can go out and visit a different one every day or you can stay home and relax by the pool. The atmosphere here is very zen. Perfect for people who want to get away from it all! The caretaker on the property is very helpful and discreet. We would highly recommend this property. It is well-suited to romantic couples, to families, or even to a group of women on a girls' holiday (as we were). Enjoy!

We had a lovely stay in this very pretty, comfortable house. It had excellent outside space with good garden furniture and loungers for relaxing. The house was very well equipped and decorated with good facilities including wifi. Beds were comfortable and the only thing which would improve it is wardrobe space and full length mirror. It is also an excellent place for exploring the Luberon and lovely Provence. Most enjoyable.

Aucune surprise ,une grande maison parfaitement équipée, le calme ,la propreté,l’accueil avec le sourire. Le réseau téléphonique est de qualité médiocre ,il existe beaucoup de zones blanches dans cette région. Nous venons de passer une semaine dans la propriété et sommes encore sous le charme de l'endroit. Tout est parfait. Nous étions 4 adultes et deux jeunes enfants et chacun a trouvé sa place. Vastes chambres, séjour climatisé, cuisine parfaitement équipée, buanderie, barbecue extérieur, piscine protégée, 4 tables de jardin réparties dans le parc ce qui fait qu'au moins une est toujours à l'ombre, décor de chaque pièce,....plus le sourire et l'accueil de la propriétaire. Que demander de plus?

Wij hebben in juli een week heerlijk vakantie gevierd in dit huis met twee volwassenen en drie kinderen (8, 11 en 12). Genoeg te doen in de omgeving en een heel fijne tijd gehad in het het huis en de tuin. Het zwembad is klein maar genoeg om te spelen en lekker af te koelen. De tuin heeft veel verschillende zitjes waardoor je altijd ergens in de zon of de schaduw kan zitten.

Maison magnifique, bien entretenue et parfaitement équipée : tout le charme de la Provence ! Le lieu et l'équipement correspondent parfaitement à la description; la maison et le jardin (piscine, transats, fauteuils de jardin) disposent de tout le nécessaire pour passer un plaisant séjour. Excellente situation pour rayonner dans les charmants petits villages de la région. Bravo pour les jeux, livres et guides touristiques mis à disposition. L'accueil sympathique de Marie-Odile a été parfait et elle a été d'une grande disponibilité tout en étant très discrète. Nous recommandons cette très belle adresse pour profiter d'agréables vacances au cœur de cette jolie région.

Wir haben mit unserer Familie 2,5 Wochen in der wunderschönen Provence erleben dürfen. Unsere Unterkunft war wirklich fantastisch, das Grundstück sehr groß. Es fehlte uns nichts, die liebe Vermieterin Marie stand jederzeit für uns zur Verfügung. Einzig die Lage an einer viel befahrenen Straße hat uns ein bisschen gestört, amsonsten war alles perfekt.
